You Definitely have me excited for the new Perk System. Im a Chef so i love the fact theres a Master Chef Perk now. Cant Wait to try it out ill be looking forward to Alpha 17 and all of its New Content that is has to offer.

But

I do have 2 questions. 1. now since there will be a New Alpha does this mean Navesgane will be changed or will it remain the same?

2. Havent seen the Health Bar on Zombies lately did that change?

1. Navesgane has changed. There's a video on it, also since 2 biomes are now gone and merged with another, that will change things up. I know there is now a town in the snow biome where there is none currently.

2. The health bars on zombies was from him doing videos in debug mode or some such, but the actual game does not unless you play in debug mode. At least that is current.

Any chance we may hear of other sounds added. I was just at a Halloween thing and they had sounds of crows and seemed to really bring out the Halloween theme.

Vehicles are in a bit of a twilight zone. You no longer build them by assembling components of differing quality but they also don’t have mods yet. Do higher quality just drive faster? I’m not sure but I don’t think so. Seems like things like speed, handling, armor, cargo space, etc would be perfect for the mod system but it’s not done yet for vehicles.
Higher quality vehicles have more durability.

Let's try this. I made this google sheet and copied it for public consumption. Anyone can edit this, so I would recommend that you copy it and use that one instead of the one being linked here.
Enjoy: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tZZNRckARZb12G7MQ9qSK9QnYtnLN6m4lDBUzIqEFBM/edit?usp=sharing

Edit to add:

Do not fill out any values that are colored in. Only put numbers in the uncolored (white) boxes. The colored fields have formulas in them to auto fill.
Hey, that's great man! I downloaded it just to do something while I wait.

I might make several copies, each being 20 point increments to try to balance between combat and non-combat skills

I think the first 20 points should be 75% non-combat, next 50%, then 25% then if I didn't die yet and I'm no longer struggling to survive I will use the rest of my points to make a theme (class) to my character.

I know I know, its just how I roll. :)

Oh, you want the truth then? It will be like this for me:

"Oh cool, points! Let me just open up my spreadsheets with the circles and arrows... OMG! something killed my character while I was making my clever plans!!" :)

I’ll take one “I don’t think it’s good to have mods only be available through quests” post over a thousand “I don’t think the devs should take a year to update their game” posts any day.
Okay I won't say that! Can I say 'I don't think the devs should take 1.5 years to update their game' instead?

I’d like to make a suggestion for A17e/A17.x, disable the command console. If you want to make it scarey, that’s a good start :p
Yes please! option for disable command console for everybody (even admin, though he can change that option at start at will). Quality of life feature that prevents temptation and provides with a great deal of closure, foundation and confort to the gameplay (knowing that you cannot cheat even if you try and being genuinely scared).

I have enough willpower but free cheats are just wrong.... even from the admin. Kicking a player and many other commands should not be issued through the console command window. A simple menu would prevent the admin from cheating while providing him with admin powers.

What are you even talking about? Why do you handle the console as part of the gameplay? So dumb... . If there is a cheater admin, then just don't play on the server. If they wanna cheat, then on option on your end won't stop that.

Disabling the console commands utterly would just mess with others, who would actually use those. And even that would not stop a server owner from cheating, if they wanted to.

If you do that, then you are playing with cheats, which is entirely your choice. Does the game really have to hold your hand that much? Ask someone to destoy your PC upon death, or torture you, whatev. Will that make it scary?

There are no cheats in single player.

On a multiplayer server the owner assigns which level of user gets access to which console command.

This is all working already - just use it.

I see. A limited function UI for the multiplayer server owner doesn't sound so bright now that I think of it. I guess it's all about leather, leashes and self-restraint.

Thank you for the awesome response Roland!

That makes me think that engine mods, armor mods, and who knows what else are what would come for them.

Am very excited for a17 and patiently await its arrival! I know it is going to be a whole new game and SO worth the wait!

Thank you and the devs for all that you do!

I BET The Fun Pimps are actually just gonna release A18! That's gotta be the only excuse/reason for the year and a half gap (instead of the multiple smaller releases they said they were going to start doing after A16). I love surprises! happy Halloween!
