I'll grow a beard and then eat it if it isn't out within 15 months of today.
Can't picture you with a beard. But for some reason no problem with blue skirt, piercings and mining hat.

Eating those 3-4 hairs isn't that difficult is it? Or will I have to reduce the difficulty with 2 levels to eat it?

 
Eh , you don't need much to flavor a beard...just don't wash it for a few days and you will have soup , bbq sauce and all sorts of things in it!

 
I wouldn't, it would mean the balancing is borked. If your tower cannot defend against a horde then the tower defence aspect of the game is broken, not improved.

So, it should now be called a "Maginot Line" tower defense game. Being equally effective as the French WW2 defensive line, worked great... for the Germans!

Just as WW2 evolved into mobile warfare, so does 7D2D. I'm good with it.

A fair point although if a horde can get through my defences and I actually have to start killing them myself I tend to feel I've failed in some way.

People with a low framerate also rely on the defence of their base because it's hard to shoot something when your fps is less than one.

That's not something we can design the gameplay around. LOL

Also, any unmanned defense is going to fail. Military history can tell you that.

They may delay for a while but not for very long unless actively defended. Even if it's just skirmishers disrupting mine clearing or whatever the defense is.

You may not be able to design around it but it should be kept in mind when balancing. A well designed base should be able to take care of the first few hordes with minimal help from the player. That should be the extreme edge of a builder character, one who doesn't particularly want to shoot anything, otherwise there's little point in getting construction perks when combat perks are a necessity.

Unmanned defences may not work in real life but as we are repeatedly told, this is a game not real life.
