Yesterday was leg day. I had meetings screw me out of leg day. Then at 11pm I had that tough choice, I can make it right, or skip leg day. I made it right. Now today its not leg day, thank god I only got 5 hours sleep. Sometimes when your crunching your mind is just geared to think about work.
Everyday is leg day when you are a powerlifter ;)

ok neebs gaming had their season SEASON FINALE .... I think that could mean we are ready for A17.... but take your time dear funpimps, because they had a realy hard SEASON FINALE and probably need a little break ^^

That was one of the worst base designs I have ever seen I can't even imagine what the guy was thinking when he made it.

@Faatal

If it isn't too much trouble would you please talk to me a little bit about how the game utilizes physical and virtual cores and the maximum number of physical cores the game will currently utilize and also does it prefer and prioritize physical cores over virtual cores?

Please use my Intel i9 7900X 10 core CPU as the example when you explain it.

If it isn't too much trouble could you also shoot me a PM with your answer so I don't miss it?

Thanks in advance.

Just a stab in the dark.. I think it only uses one virtual processor. ;x

Idea: Get 1 point per survived day, So you would need 200+ days to get 200+ points. :smile-new:
Yup, that would stop the min/maxing on some things. It could also be easier to keep the game difficulty balanced (All Day 50 players would have a similar level of power).

But it could turn into a "sit and wait" kinda game. Eat, Drink and dig (I don't care what TFP say about underground safety. Unless they have zombie giant moles or something like that, you will always be safer than above ground.

So you dig subways, tend your gardens and win.

considering that your mod is one of the most played ones, i will respectfully disagree with your statement:smile-new:jaxteller

Doraleous5000 quote of the day: "When in doubt, nuke them out!"

I love how he had them all going for days, you know, with trust, with their lives, like sheep! :D

Best video ever!

The goal wasn't really to be safe on horde night. It was to make an entertaining video. If you watch the whole series, all of their base designs suck. They are just trying different things for fun and as someone else put it, "failing gloriously"

I think 1 point per survived horde night would be a nice reinforcement to that 7 day loop without wildly affecting game balance. But then, I'm not a game designer who has to worry about such things. :)

I'm still not sure if it's a good idea but here are some more ideas:

Each day without a death = 1 point.

Killing each 7 day horde boss = 1 point.

Each 100 non-boss kills = 1 point.

Each quest thread completed = 1-3 points depending on length and difficulty.

Something like that.

Getting points for surviving nights thus making experience gain obsolete is a terrible idea. By that mechanic, someone who gathers wood and stone all day and defends their base against zeds would basically have the same amount of skill points as someone who sits dug up in a hole or on a roof the whole day/night.

But what about people who love to build and don’t want to fight zombies most of the time or don’t want to fight them at all?

I hope this update actually has me come back to 7dtd. Used to play all the time, like every day. Now I haven't played in months. Keep forgetting about a17, then I check when I remember, and see that it's still MIA.

Maybe in a couple years.

Lol...min/maxer’s worst nightmare. ;)

Might make for an interesting mod if it’s possible to do just to see the difference in feel. It does put survival as the focus and has its own death penalty built in. XP could then be....what? Reputation with NPC,s?
