What about Roland or the Joelercoaster? Any news from them in the past couple of days? Have picket lines and unreasonable people drug them off into the desert yet or are their defenses holding?

Few Twitter pics from MM, Roland soldiers on as always ;) oh and he posted some amusing commentary and footage of a flickering light :)

A17 breaks world records for longest ever patch length the game is a zombie and is walking around dead in a circle lol.
Meh. You won't get to my age if you cant shake off the punches life will give you. And as life punches go, believe me, this is truly a love tap.

TFP wil not dish out crap they worked a year for. That's how they roll.

I hope they deliver with this update!

I would as an owner, be quite worried about damaging my brand, so im sure there is something happening... taking up their time
So you think the devs are not working on A17 code and instead doing legal work on console licensing? Lol

They're not mutually exclusive.

Do I think TFP are working on A17? Yes.

Do I think TFP have been in communication with TellTale to find out what's happening? Yes.

Do I think TFP have been pursuing other avenues to ensure the continuation of the console version? Yes.

TFP is working on A17. For everything else there are lawyers.

The owner and upper managers? Ya. The devs writing the code? No

As I mentioned, TFP owners are not the programmers, and faatal has stated a few times that programming is the main thing that's setting the timeline right now, so I think Roland has it right. I doubt the actual programmers who have been hired by the owners are investing time in talking with lawyers.

As far as they I know the owners are Joel and his brother. I know MadMole is only an artist but gaddammit he's still part of the development team, artists are developers too no matter what lies the code-monkey's tell you. Let's not get into the argument of which part of the development team is the more important. If something affects one member of the team it, in some way, affects the entire team.

That being said I think the amount of time lost is negligible but above zero.

For the record, nowhere did I say, nor did I intend to say that programmers were more important than artists or that artists were not devs or whatever. And sure, okay, I'll let you have it, maybe some negligible amount of time is being lost. But the doom and gloom wave that's been hitting with people making stuff up is ridiculous.

Apologies, an "in joke" among developers about the quirks of other areas of the development team. Artists tend to view programmers as pedant-savants while programmers tend to view artists as glorified painters and decorators. The only thing you can be sure of is that each area of the development team sees themselves as the linchpin holding the project together, you know what? They're all right.

It's all in good fun.

Damn, you can cut the tension in here with a particularly blunt wooden spoon.
