There is a lesson to be learned from all of this. 1+ year long patch cycles are really awful. That is what I have learned.

I know, its crazy how long it takes them to pump out one update. I'm glad they finally hired new devs after years of people like me begging them to expand their team. I mean the $ is there, maybe they wanted fewer people with higher salary's?

Seriously, release is currently at least 2 weeks away. On Monday (1.10)- if we are lucky - they announce that its ready. That means that on Friday (05.10) the screamers get it, and if there are no serious bugs (*lol*) we get a first experimental the week after.

Really? The screamers get it before the streamers? I'm so mad, I think I'm gonna scream... Oh thank you Madmole for giving me A17E.

Joking! I know you meant streamers and not screamers... Haha!

and its had 3 updates within a month...another coming....soon(that actually means....soon) And weather and temperature actually work...who would a thunk it!

Is it not everywhere so that short after ea start the patches a small and fast, and then there are the huge ones that need time ?

Im not only a member......all those games actually get updates. Except the second to

last one on the list. I have never played ... Is it good?

Drithyl told me to stop asking and maybe it will come out......I also believe that a video is not forthcoming.. Its only 3 1/2 weeks ..its still early

I seriously don't understand what people think they're going to accomplish by coming in here, complaining about things they know next-to-absolutely-nothing about, disparaging the development team, making massive ad-hominem attacks on the character of the Pimps, spewing hyperbolic vitriol about how EHRMAGHERD, ALL DE OVVER GAYMES I PLEY GETS UPDETS ALL DE TYM, and basically acting like spoiled children who are owed something that they are equivocally NOT OWED.

ANYONE who follows this forum for any decent length of time and still refuses to see how hard the TFP team is working...well, they're either willfully ignorant or woefully stupid. I won't make the call as to which.

Grow up, people. Not happy with the length of the dev cycle? Fine, that's a perfectly legitimate frustration. It's NOT a license to behave like a whining, tantrum-throwing child. Put on your big boy/girl shorties and get OVER IT.

Also, if I forgot a dev/forum overseer I forgot to @, sorry!

@Roland, @Gazz, @fataal, @Prime, and @madmole -- Thanks for all you've done...and I, for one, am excited to continue the ride. I've gotten WAY more than $20 worth of fun out of this game, and I know I'll continue to do so.
