Aircrafts, blimps, gyrocopters: they would make the gameworld much smaller (way quicker and safer to traverse).That can also be a problem game-play wise. (next to technical difficulties updating the world)

Is can become from a fun activity to a dominant strategy that makes the game feel less intense than it should be.
See if your still saying that after the first zombie vulture explodes in your face, think about it, there they are happily circling around looking for a dead deer when they smell meat flying past. They charge straight for you but as soon as they get close the static electricity being generated by your rota ignites their decomp gases and you spend the rest of the day picking vulture bones out of your beard. How much more intense do you want it?

 
Like I said, then call it Horde "Hour". Currently, when the zeds stop coming. There is literally not Zeds spawned in the game, period. You can run or drive around, go into un-looted POIs and encounter NO Zeds. So what, you "beat" "Horde Night" and suddenly the zombie apocalypse is temporarily suspended for 4 or 5 hours. I call bull***

What they should do is on day 7 there should be a slowly ever growing series of hoards that go full blast on hoard night. So say around 8 or 9 am you may encounter a small hoard of scouts. say 3 to 5. Every in game hour that number goes up by 1 to 3 until the endless waves start at 22:00 and keep going until dawn. That way it's like a storm where you are first experiencing the edges and the actual hoard night is the center. Maybe on day 8 you also come across random strangling hoards every hour or so that get smaller until it hit's that 3 to 5 again by 7pm. That way you would go from edge to eye to tail.

 
ok but thats talking about stuttering frame rate not sure what that has to do with the char hands shaking
The hands shaking was to do with the way the previous engine dealt with and calculated where you were with relation to the centre, 0,0. This meant that the hands shaking and weapons moving bug became more and more noticeable the further out and spoiled the enjoyment for many people back when you had an unlimited random map (and yes it was truly unlimited, dont even go there...).

Now that the engine uses your current position rather than your position in relation to 0,0, this issue has apparently disappeared meaning very large worlds are once again possible.

I have 350 hours on the game. I telling you, the waves of zombies eventually cease. That is the design problem I'm bringing up for the devs to respond to.
are you playing in easy mode i recommend playing hard mode wave will come more and more.

 
Horde night in A16 was thoroughly underwhelming. It was basically all over and done with by midnight.

I do hope that this changes for the better in the somewhat mythical A17 release. ;)

Yeah I have similar experiences. The 7th night starts out decent enough, but after killing them off at 1 at night, single zombies keep coming on one at a time till 3. Then it's quite for the rest of the night. Doesn't seem like a bug.

there is a limit to mow many come at a given gamestage.

It isn't a bug mate... far from it.

It might have been a mistake by the Devs but definitely wasn't a bug.

same th happen in the first 3 horde night i think by day 28 and on it get more intense.

Try this... after the main horde is gone and there is only 1 z running... quit game and load again aaaaaand you have new horde! That 2nd horde almost destroyed my base (glowing cops, dogs and all in 2nd wave) rinse and repeat and you will have your fun :D

no one know that gravestone was there way before talltale shut down.

 
Wow, that many hours?
No reason to be a $%$ about it. I know some people come on here and use their hours played as some sort of reason they have to be right. In the context of the discussion going on that isn't what he did. He was making it clear that he hadn't only played the game 1 play through and thought he found a bug. Hordes that just stop after one wave or a few is a well known bug but he was being told he must be crazy or something because that isn't how hordes work. That number was just thrown out to show he wasn't talking about playing one or two horde nights. I've seen the same thing he is talking about happen. I never did figure out what was causing it on my play through.

 
Hi, i have a question about A17experimental.

I've only been playing since July, so I have never had to update the game before.

Is a savegame from the A17e compatible with subsequent A17-versions or do I have to start a new game?
