Things guppy doesn't get 142:

People won't play a16 because a17 is near and they don't want to invest time in a game that won't last long, yet they want to play a17e games that... won't last long...

Oh sorry mate, I guess I'm used to the toxicity of the subreddit. In regards to some of the anger, I can understand it, because I too, am disappointed at the rate the devs are going, and can partly understand that it does take a while due to the features they are adding. Again, I didn't try to come off as upset, I assumed you were being serious, and I was trying to understand what you meant.
Yep, some overly defensiveness and offensiveness here, and no problem :D

This is an Early Access game, but it's one in which due to the game being a sandbox-style game has no definite ending, similar to Minecraft, so there is no reason to wait on game development like there would be if it was, say, an Early Access platformer with a definite ending, because you can't actually finish the game until the ending is created. Are Minecraft players going "OMG I HATE THIS GAME, DEVELOPMENT IS SO SLOW!" No, they aren't. Why? Because they have a game that is great and playable right now. Guess what? So do we, it's called 7 Days to Die Alpha 16. It's an awesome fun sandbox survival crafting zombie game and it's tons of fun!

With the Unity3D engine upgrade and all the work that came with that along with all the overhauls of nearly every aspect of the game plus all the new features, A17 is going to be by far the biggest update to the game, or should I say, the biggest release of the new game! Stop waiting on A17 and go play A16 or other games until then! They gave you A16, enjoy it! Get your 7DtD fix on! Or to switch to a food reference, I know everyone here wants the latest and greatest dessert, but due to those needed upgrades, this just happens to be an especially large chunk to chew on. We've been used to smaller chunks in the past, so our appetites and expectations have been set, but we need to simply adjust those expectations. When A17 finally comes, it'll be a five course dinner. Until then, enjoy the A16 menu, or other games!

I don't care who they are, there is tons of new content in A17 basically overhauling every aspect of the game, creating a ton of new content and features, all while the model and texture artists have created lots of new content in the form of POIs and other things, and there was a big Unity3D upgrade done which required a bunch of extra work underneath it all in order to bring awesome features to us such as Vulkan rendering support and speedups in other areas as well which will go very nicely with the graphical improvements they've added such as the new water and lighting effects.
But yeah, they haven't done anything at all, it's only the biggest upgrade in their entire history of alpha releases! lol

Hey what about the modders,i know few mods verry, verry good, with more content that A17 will bring, what about they to take place of devs? I bet they can do more quality stuffs for the game in 1 month than A17 will be...please..please,all who 10000% defend 7dtd devs, please stop finding arguments for tham, they should reply to people, but some of you are too brain wash cuz of this update...DO NOT EXPECT so many changes,A17 will be forgoten in 1 month after realease, modders will adapt their mods to A17 and the game will be more interesting.

PS: Now lets see the kiss xx how stab me :) )

Good bye, anyway many of us find something else to play, for ex me and my friends we play ARK SE.

Mods are great and if this update is a modder's wet dream like is stated, that could potentially add lots more content to the game very quickly. We can only hope!

How about now? Is it ready yet?
Yes, A16 is available right now and is an awesome game! :D

Who?
How exactly do you compare 3 people's work to something that is an unknown to you?

A17 has had 132 builds. The current change notes for those builds is about 3500 lines.
Don't let the cry babies get to you, faatal. They are probably comparing apples to oranges and calling them the same. No doubt you're all grinding out the finer details of a great update with complexities 95% of us wouldn't understand.

I mostly scroll through the garbage and look for posts from just a handful of reasonable people on here and dev/staff updates. Even though you all read through the posts and actually consider the ideas and comments we leave (big props for that), posts like this don't deserve the time of day from TFP staff.

Most likely not even apples to oranges. They are more likely comparing grapes to watermelons and pretending they weigh the same.

i dont care about how long it took to deliver at this point. i just hope that they will learn and make smaller and frequent updates from now on.

Just guessing the current emojiis:
2 Bugs really resolved

2 Bugs resolved but still at QA & Testing

1 Bug resolved, but not yet at QA...
seems i was right. The two angels are completely gone now. next step is to run the last bugs through QA. I am sniffing a Oct. 1st release.

Sorry for not a modest question, but I'm a buyer of this game, I have the right to know.

How many people are involved in the development?

What is their qualification?

Where can I see the development assessment for the next couple of months?

What is the total revenue from the sales of the game?

They learned that smaller and more frequent updates don't work for their team and development methodology.

You don't have a right to anything, and trying to get your questions answered in that fashion will most likely fail epicly.

I...don't think you have as much right as you think.

You bought a product, not rights or majority stock in a company.

None of that information is actually owed to you.

How many people are involved in the development?
-> irrelevant for a buyer. What matters is: is it one person or more? (i know this from my customers, this is because of insurancies/delivery goal fails. no one cares about the number of people, as long as its more than one.)

What is their qualification?
-> irrelevant. If you are an investor (which means shareholder of the company, not ea-buyer btw.) then it matters. But i guess that isnt the case.....

Where can I see the development assessment for the next couple of months?
-> Sorry, but for a buyer: Irrelevant again. You are not an investor, just a buyer.

What is the total revenue from the sales of the game?
-> Well, thats in most cases even out of the answer for an investor. Normally companies have to open their books only if the state calls.

No, you don't.

Unless you have a percentage ownership in TFP, none of this stuff is your business.

Is my question offensive?

Or so difficult to answer?

What is so difficult about counting personnel on heads?

List their capabilities, experience, etc.

I paid for the development of this project. These people work for my money.

Sorry, I'm not asking for anything that's impossible.

(sorry for my translation of Google)

I just don’t understand the self entitlement of people. I really don’t. TFP should hold A17 until all these people can provide detailed personal financial analyses, complete family history for at least the last 500 years, how many cars the entire population of europe has had in their entire lives, and the DNA of grumpy cat.

Actually....thats not true. You paid for the right to USE the product. (In this case that means: play the game). You did not buy the product. You did not pay for the development. (Even if it look like this for an ea-buyer at steam)
