hehehe,

All these feisty people, putting their lives on hold waiting for the release. Personally I want TFP to squash as many bugs now as they can before releasing it, nothing worse than a broken toy that just wont do what its supposed to.

I don't mind the wait, I want the game to be playable without the game breaking bugs. I know there will still be some bugs, but hopefully they can catch some of the bigger issues before releasing experimental, this way players should be able to get a great first impression.

The only thing that frustrated me was the announcement of the release date for July. I had always told my players that it wont be out till end of the year, and my players were playing along happy , thinking they had plenty of time. Then the announcement release for July and our server went from a steady 30 plus players down to 1-4 a day, just because they figured why spend time when it will all wipe soon. Its not a complaint or a moan, Its been a little like a holiday for me to be honest, a calm before the storm, I understand things happen, just frustrating that I get my players asking daily "are we there yet'.

Reminds me of the above shrek links with my players, haha

I will say, thanks Roland Gazz and Kinyajuu for the images and little teaser info you post along the way, I stalk this thread for any such spoilers to post into our discord to keep the mobs from grabbing their pitchforks, its much appreciated to see progress along the way, don't be afraid to post some of the bugs also, so players understand what it is you guys are dealing with that needs to be fixed before release.

Can not agree more

@Missy, thank you for taking a moment to share your thoughts. i hope you are motivated to share more in the future. best wishes to you and your 7 days compatriots

I like many, are just excited. I've been anticipating this release for a while. While I may be frustrated slightly with the extension, I would rather they fix the bugs. Either way, it will be fun to play for a long while or I'll wait for the next alpha after a comrade and I both fall through the world on a tandem vehicle that wasn't tested on a dedicated server.

You haven't even tried. I'm sure you could agree more if you put your mind to it

i dont know but whine and cheese could be a bad combo
You eat cheese before the whine because the cheese protect your teeth against the agressive whine

And the Fat in the cheese allow you to drink more

(Nice sidenote, as adenauer (Federal Chancellor after WW2) moved to russia to release the last 10 000 war prisoners he gave the order to he staff that everybody eat a package butter (or drank a flask of oil). It was known at that time that russion drank much alcohol during the negotiations )

They have been "miserable" with this in the past, but you want them to give another estimate anyways? Are you a glutton for punishment or just completely clueless about how illogical you are?
I'm trying to stay glutton-free, myself.

Did that vulture really spend four hours circling?
The time was probably skipped. But as far as I understand, the new vulture AI keeps them circling until you engage a zombie and are distracted. Then it charges.

i think now you're just messing with me... lol
hmm, nothing but headstones and ghosts... end of October projection? Yeah, I had to go there :bi_polo: . But hey, more time to bug squish. I've been playing A16 regularly as I keep up with the forum. Like some of the streamers, I've returned to Vanilla to reaquaint myself with how the game is *supposed* to be enjoyed, so I can better contrast & compare with A17 when it is released. When it is released is not as important to me as much as the quality. I say let the devs do their thing, tantalize us with a tidbit here and there, and enjoy the ride.

Personally I like carbon-free diets.
Most people don't even know this but it covers just about any other diet like gluten-free, carbohydrates - you name it.
Must be tough when you get the munchies. What do you do, gnaw on glass?
