Is this your mature adult way of spreading misinformation? Unity update DID affect the timeline, the very thing that was brought up after my post asking for an explanation. But i guess that's what immature adults do, bring up a problem and have it resolved.

Of course it was, all you fanboys never argue anything valid, you just say ♥♥♥♥ and cram your fist of fanboyism down people's throats for critizing anything. It's sad and pathetic, and it's why any review/forum outside of this one is full of bad reviews, it's because people like you push out people with valid critism. It's really bad for the market. This guy was voted out by my community in my private discord. now he's coming here calling me immature for locking him out.
Your rant just proves my point. Is not about the "validity" of the criticism , it's about there's such thing as Constructive Critics and Destructive Critics. The constructive ones are meant to generate positive improvements, the destructive ones are meant just to cause stir and controversy. There's many frequent posters in this forum that are very vocal about their concerns with the game, but generally do it on a constructive way.

As for your last sentence, I have no idea what you're talking about. Is that your "Fantasy World"?

Well, me and my friends really hope that this is taking soooo god damn long, because all critical "we have fixed an issue, but you need to start over now 5 times from scratch because we needed to wipe" will not be an issue this time for 2 months after A17 will be released.

Nah. They're trying to get the release candidate to the point where that is viable at all. Apparently, it isn't even to that point. Expect the same alpha procedure as before.

What about a raised platform that you shoot down (through iron Bars) into the zombie masses below? Will that not work in A17 now???

Pillars being 7-10 blocks apart and you standing in the center... are Zombies THAT much smarter now that they can figure out which pillars to attack 10 blocks away?
So my planned A17 design is a 15x15 fort. From a 7 Day horde zombie's point of view, to kill me they need to:

1) Destroy the first curtain wall. No problem, just used to keep wandering zombies away.

2) Cross a 30 meter deep pit 2 meters across that's filled with spikes and attack the second curtain wall.

a) while they are damaging the wall the zombies will be sinking slowly dawn as spikes are destroyed. Soon they will not be able to reach the damaged part of the wall and must attack an undamaged part...

3) There is another pit/curtain wall, just for added security.

The 50% pillars are only for observing the "progress" the zombies make and to replace destroyed spikes in the morning.

There is no reason to shoot at A17 zombies, I'm hoping a boss zombie appears so I can kill him and loot his stuff in the morning.

If boss zombies don't appear and zombie loot is poor, then I will avoid above ground night hordes all together.

Will the next update take 2 years? I mean come on guys, this game is in early alpha since 5 years and you get out an update once a year. Do you really think that players would wait all this time when other companies keep their game updated weekly?! I really love this game but how do you think you can keep players playing it?
What game releases content weekly? Also, are TFP other companies? whats your definition of updating a game? cause thats faaaaar to vague.

If the next update takes 2 years, it takes 2 years. Cant rush it because thats how you get mistakes.

Come on, Zadwanaa, you know that there is a one-size-fits-all business model which all companies that want to be successful must implement. That's what people learn when they get MBAs. Clearly, Madmole does not have an MBA. For this original sin, his company and its products will be an utter failure.

[...] Best is to just go with the flow and see what happens. Regardless of what labels we or TFP put on stuff it seems pretty guaranteed that we have at least 2 years of continued work and updating to the game which is great news for those who like this process.
hi there, this is my first post and sorry by advance for my bad english, this isn't my native language. I just want to say that i'm agree with Roland, 2 years of updates is a great thing for the game and early access, alpha and beta, if the game goes to an acceptable end, is not a bad thing. A lot of games when it release in gold do not have furter updates and no substantial features and often thoses games are not finished, not "perfect" if perceft means something.

What i want to say is that 7d2d can already be a gold game beacause it's totally playable and pretty fun but the perspective for us, to have more content, better balance and additionnal goals is a good thing for the community.

So no rush for the final release, please^^

'Friendly'...
THings Americans say that don't seem to mean what they say:

"How are you?" - But, PLEASE, Don't tell me.

"In all honesty..." - but I don't usually lie. Really.

"With all due respect..." - but what I am about to say probably won't sound very respectful.
British people say all these things too..... I'm English btw and live in the States...

Also, I find it strange that people think it's odd to say "how's it going?".

It's just a way of saying "hi" and no one expects any deep response. Just say "good, thanks", "not bad" or "alright, cheers" followed by "how about you?"..

Personally, I made a decision a few years ago to always respond with "I'm good" to try and maintain a positive attitude rather than saying "not bad" which is a very British thing to say. I have to say, it works pretty well :smile-new:

I'm pretty sure that in Antarctica the standard greeting has to be: "What's up?"

And the standard answer is, "Everything"
