they own games like this to keep us glued to the monitors and not let us leave the house

I think I understand what you are saying. I know English is not an easy language. SO many aspects of it drive me crazy and I was born into it.

If you are saying should the Devs just say "It may be out in November", then my answer is no. This forum time and time again has proven to be unable to handle such things in the manner that they are stated. I think it is in TFP best interest to not give any more time frames at all and let Roland continue with his emojis.

Stop trying to be an A or B and be more like C.

Don't get me wrong I have probably been A, B, and C but I think its kind of toxic for the community to gang up on anyone who voices concerns regardless of how legitimate or not they are. I get that most of us are bored but i cant help but feel like theres like a few people on the forums who feel like they have to bash anyone who has a concern and label them as a troll like they are doing TFP a service by doing so.

Loosing all hope 5 years and still alpha as well...

I love the fact that game is alpha, as they change logics, game play, adjust economic and it is like playing a different game. Yes, like other I am waiting for that "different game" from quite sometime, but been in alpha is best about this game.

Those who says criticsing is troll are actually the one who get benefits from their delay. I see some of modder are selling more server and their mods because they know A17 is not up and means people switch and try their mod. If you see those are the so called experience gamer, and loyal to Fun pimps and they understand development better then other who just are pure fans. So yes, been a C is better option.

It sounds like the majority of a17 features are changes to existing systems and adding better mod access, so there won't be any "wow factor" to make people forget the year+ wait.

So although this really IS a major overhaul and game changer for us die hards, the majority of the player base will likely see little to no difference.

I think you're going to eat your cute little underwear on that. With the changes to AI and the buff system I think it's going to a whole new experience. Just being optimistic!

Not for nothing, but we are all gamers here. Since when is it OUR business to scrutinize the finances of a developer? Have they asked you for more money? Have they charged you monthly? Do you think your 20 bones paid for something more than 2 hours of an employee's time?
I know the mods here and the owners are too diplomatic to come in here and shut this stupid conversation down, but lets be realistic here, I would like to know YOUR financials. And please no covering anything up. As a fellow gamer lets call it research. I think I have the right to scrutinize your financials wiggle. Not my business you say? EXACTLY. Do you own a public share of Pimps? Are you their financial advisor? Are you the tax man cometh? Then its nobody's business.

Some of you take things way past the point of being a fan of an Early Access game. Seriously go outside and catch some fresh air.

No! We are entitled to dictate how TFP run their business because we paid for an early access game! I'd say more, but I am going down to the teriyaki place on the corner. They raised the price on their special by 25 cents, and I'm going to demand that they justify this to me, along with full access to their books.

I think you're going to eat your cute little underwear on that. With the changes to AI and the buff system I think it's going to a whole new experience. Just being optimistic!

I'll have to side with the flashy underwear model on this. AI will make a difference but will be seen mostly as a bug fix for the running in circles bug. Only the zombies hitting support structures might be regarded as a new feature on its own.

The buff system is deep under the hood and I suspect that on the surface only the old buffs were converted to the new system and a few features already listed on page 1 use the new buffs, but without most players noticing the difference.

What will be noticed is the jeep, the arrows, the weapon mods and maybe the still unknown secret feature.

The secret feature has been in the game for a long time, but the chem trails made us forget.


There is also a command in the chem trails to "send 30 bucks to TFP". But someone in Area 51 made a spelling mistake and all the testers got the command "send 30 bugs to TFP". Hence the delay.

Wow. I didn't realize that the television stereotypes of Canadians were so accurate.

Still, I'm down for Canadian donuts, particularly of the maple variety.
