It's kinda sad when one of the things you look most forward to in these fourms is Roland changing the emoticons.
I seem to recall reading that a shovel was a widely used melee weapon in World War I, but maybe I saw that in a movie.The shovel is a bit of wierd to me more. I mean everyone know how to hit with a shovel ( if not give your girl a frying pan and make her angry(pan is for minimal damage, but same movement) ) and its not like we dig into someone`s face. I don`t mind them so much, it is charming the game.
Not sure. For A17 the mods are going to be pretty basic but sky's the limit in the future for what there will be. Clothing, armor, tools, weapons, and vehicles all have mod slots although weapons are the only things getting mods for the upcoming update. But the framework is there and I'm sure the devs have thought about having a variety of each mod by changing the stats up.@Roland: i have a question about mods:Will mods be all the same (i'm talking about stats) or we can have the same mod with different stats?
Probably my gamma. I turned it up to test something when it was night and I wanted to be able to see and I forgot to turn it back down. My preference is 25% on gamma for actual playing and it looks like it was higher than that in the video.Can't say I care how washed out everything looks in the video. Kind of a tiring trend I've seen in a lot of games lately.
When you say "back 2 meters" you have to talk more slowly too...Keyboard too. To much clicky sounds on my new mechanical keyboard. It is all voice commands now. Mic required.

Only if you make the move to 3rd person isometric and go with super deformed heads on all entities. As a bonus, building will look like sim city as well.Due to those slight issues, I say we dump the whole FPS action vibe and go turn based. We just need to throw a 1 meter grid over everything and it will be perfect.
