The water proof glue is from bones and the like (gelatin) adding vinegar and glycerin (not positive how to make glycerin).
Glycerin can be made from some plant oils (have to leave for an appointment, so I can't look up which plants right now).

Glue doesn't come from someone's skin, it comes from their bones. Where do you think gelatin comes from? Gelatin is the base of glue.
Nope you can definitely make glue from animal hide. It's commonly used in woodworking, not sure if it would have applications in making the things we use glue for in the game, but you can definitely make glue from an animal hide.

Animal hides are soaked in water to produce "stock." The stock is then treated with lime to break down the hides. The hides are then rinsed to remove the lime, any residue being neutralised with a weak acid solution. The hides are heated, in water, to a carefully controlled temperature around 70 degrees Celsius. The 'glue liquor' is then drawn off, more water added, and the process repeated at increasing temperatures.
The glue liquor is then dried and chipped into pellets.

Hide glue is used in woodworking. It may be supplied as granules, flakes, or flat sheets, which have an indefinite shelf life if kept dry. It is dissolved in water, heated and applied warm, typically around 60°C (140°F). Warmer temperatures quickly destroy the strength of hide glue. Commercial glue pots, simple water baths or double boilers may be used to keep the glue hot while in use. As hide glue cools, it gels quickly. At room temperature, prepared hide glue has the consistency of stiff gelatin, which is in fact a similar composition. Gelled hide glue does not have significant strength, so it is vital to apply the glue, fit the pieces, and hold them steady before the glue temperature drops much below 50 °C (120 °F). All glues have an open time, the amount of time the glue remains liquid and workable. Joining parts after the open time is expired results in a weak bond. Hide glue's open time is usually a minute or less. In practice, this often means having to heat the pieces to be glued, and gluing in a very warm room, though these steps can be dispensed with if the glue and clamp operation can be carried out quickly.

Just use 'starch' which the game already has the ingredients for.Corn and Potatoes.

Recipe: (Campfire with pot)

Corn + jar of water (murky or clean) = glue.

Potato + jar of water (murky or clean) = glue.
Nice, great idea too since I always have too many vegetables late-game.

Here is the plan in the future. Pimps are ready (not now, when really ready) with RC which is gonna given to the stremers. They do their job and if there is no game stopping bugs we get experimental where we opt-out it in Steam and play or test and report so more bugs are fixed. Stable - when ready.
P.S. when ready goes for RC, too :)
I'm old. What does RC stand for?

Anything to tell my buddy who thinks the creators of 7 days isn't going to care about it anymore? He is literally in the mindset that they made the money they wanted out of the game and aren't really gonna care anymore about it once 17 is released and they're just dragging their feet on it while they work on other games and such.

Im guessing he's still butthurt that the creator of the game Banished up and disappeared, left the game behind the way it is and is just gone completely.

WHAT Joel is still here and posts on his Twitter account with updates regularly.

I'd go with one of us right and the other is wrong, guess we will find out after A17 is released and if they don't post anywhere. If you can't see them on twitch, twitter, facebook, if Roland won't respond to the bribes someone offers and the all the devs that come on and chat don't taklk or say anything after a two or three week period, he was right. He won't be.

They made their money a loooong time ago, so they could have taken it and ran away long before Alpha 17. When I joined the game in A12 or so, I believe it had already sold very well and had great reviews, and since then 4 more big updates were released.

Perhaps another good indicator is that a bunch of the money they made they reinvested into the game to get professional voice actors and mocap animations to up the quality of their product.

Don't forget the Mutfruit.

Meh, that's no never mind, I didn't add the formaldehyde to the recipe or the proper ratios ;) :playful:
edit: I would have put in the flour to glue deal but we don't have any wheat ingredients in the game.
