This is just your speculation and that proves that you haven't really seen my meme, otherwise you would know it didn't have anything to do with my use of TM in that other post and that while TM itself in connection of the "Official Fan Base" was indeed used a bit sarcastically, it was only in defense, because when Roland talked about "those few" or "those few that are not part of the fan base", I thought he was referring to the joke / meme I posted and I had an unpleasant feeling he talked about me as one of those "few that are not part of fan base", just because I made that little joke, but then it turned out it was not the case at all as he said he must have missed the meme. But you're right about one thing - no need to take it from me when I say my meme was just an innocent joke, you can simply look it up yourself to see it before jumping into conclusions, it's right there, couple of pages back if you're interested...I think your use of TM and the tone of your post all but proves there's nothing "innocent" about your meme. Just because you say it does not make it so. Nice try though.
Dude, 2 words.In the last screenshot I dont see any difference to A16. On the first & second its hard to tell since holding an torch always looked nice. Have you guys the hype glasses on or am I just blind ? Rolands stuff didnt hyped me ... are the screens comparing to A16 to get me on the hype train too ?
You can't pre-bake lighting in a dynamic world, it must all be done at runtime. As far as I know they have every intention of gettng ambient occlusion working again, if they haven't already.Can the inside baked ambient occlusion not be fixed? It worked before.Or is the inside lighting secondary to promoting the texture-art?
That would rock!Hey Roland, you might want to encourage MM to put out a video now...
Hmmm it's too bad that a single core Intel can still rip that thing a new one when it comes to gaming. your number of cores doesn't mean crap when games don't use them! Not to mention most things don't take advantage of 32 cores. so you're buying yourself a affordable transport and you don't have the license to drive it.Since the new AMD Threadripper 32 core CPU is coming out for an affordable price that stomps everything intel has they can buy one and if they need to process anything they can do it faster than ever before so at least that won't hold them up during A18. =P
I don't know, but.. I like to think this is the Spider Meme: http://www.27bslash6.com/overdue.htmlFeat Freeze -> Hitler Vid -> MM gameplay-> Spider Meme -> Stream Blitz ->
-> Release Candidate -> A17-E
What does this even mean, quoted from the original post?
Turn down your gamma and you can see the difference in the lighting.In the last screenshot I dont see any difference to A16. I wasn't talking about TFP using it to game I was talking about using it to process assets, I'm not a digital art guy or a special effects guy or whatever so I don't have a better word to use, maybe "bake" I dunno.Hmmm it's too bad that a single core Intel can still rip that thing a new one when it comes to gaming. your number of cores doesn't mean crap when games don't use them! Not to mention your "affordable" processor is estimated to be about 1700 dollars. my 400 dollar intel processor will still out perform that monostrosity of a cpu in games.
