Yeah I haven't played in like 4 months. I'm stoked for A17, I imagine I will play it 24/7 for months. This waiting hurts lol, I keep holding out playing so I dont get burned out playing.

I played raft as well.. havent played since the addition of the seagulls that attack, but it really is pretty damn addicting.. Not long term play, but a nice little time sink til A17E dropsJust swim out in a lake somewhere, then your safe... ish.
Hey that reminds me of Raft. If you want something like 7D2D, try a steam game called Raft (I just know TFP can do this). Its early, early access and my OCD side took over and I finished in 13 hours with a crap ton of loot... But it was the best 13 hours I have had in a long, long time! If they keep adding the promised content, then it could by in my top 10 list.
I heard that Yoda rage quit the game after that addition...I played raft as well.. havent played since the addition of the seagulls that attack, but it really is pretty damn addicting.. Not long term play, but a nice little time sink til A17E drops
That's a good point. Most of the things worth reading on this forum are coming from a small group of people. I could just read anything from people that actually work for TFP and ignore a lot of the rest. The reason I don't usually skip over stuff is because sometimes I see stuff that gives me a good chuckle.thats why i skim thru and only read posts by those with green and gold names. they tend to respond to the stuff worth reading, so you see the original stuff quoted and then something interesting in response.theres a few ill stop and see what they are gabbing about as well but not that many
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you, Roland, I tried so hard to forget that song and now it's back in my head!I heard that Yoda rage quit the game after that addition...
So you're forcing us to express a certain expression??Some of you in need of a smilie? I think some of you need a smilie. Please, have a smilie from me.
Just like The Computer in the P&P game Paranoia...happiness IS mandatory! So you're forcing us to express a certain expression??
ah...dang it. Your post brought something else to mind.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you, Roland, I tried so hard to forget that song and now it's back in my head!
I watched several youtube streamers "demonetize" themselves because of those dang seagulls.I heard that Yoda rage quit the game after that addition...
Back at ya. If you want underground threats, you can mod them in. Its obvious to me you me you dont care about mining much as the impact of your ideas would break what is clearly an intended gameplay feature. Your whole interest to fix an exploit, by adding a gameplay feature, that breaks a gameplay feature. Resource gathering for rock, lead, coal, nitrate, and shale is already its own little challenge enough and required for those that want the 'build' feature of this game. I agree that the exploit needs to be fixed, and it can be done so with AI. But adding unavoidable environmental hazards is punishing the people who (I will risk speaking for others) was an intended part of this game.Yep which TFP fully supports through modding.
No matter which way the final version of the game shakes out you will be able to modify the game to suit your play style, you yours and me mine.
Im very amateur at modding and I can say with 100 percent certainty that it is 1 billion times easier to mod something out, than in. For example I could EASILY mod out the 7 day hordes, modding the system IN tho would be development.Back at ya. If you want underground threats, you can mod them in.
Thats a great sentiment to have, but currently there are NO ways to mod in an underground threat or we would have done so in a heartbeat. So the mechanic has to be created and implemented for it to be moddable.Back at ya. If you want underground threats, you can mod them in. Please be sure to participate in their forum and complain whenever they break their promises (delaying releases, postponing promised features, abandoning promised features, etc.)Hey that reminds me of Raft...If they keep adding the promised content, then it could by in my top 10 list.
