Welcome to the forums, indeed you have interesting question, though, there is not set release date. It is supposed to be a Monday of the this month or next (check first post & top of the thread. Many new systems are added, something that cant be done in parts as Mikee think it could. We all have our patience that result some insanities sometimes, but wish you and your wife stay sane and patient, and you will have really good time soon.

Really? My ears...As the Guns aren´t loud enough...My neighboors call the Police if i play 7dtd..

I have to lower the sound but its impossible to hear anything else then...

How about a option to lower gun sounds for people?
I said noise level. Not the volume the sound effect is played at. Two different things.

Hey XEEN I have an idea, how about you play the game the way you want to play, I play the way I want to play. And you stop thinking that your way is the only way. #Control issues much?
Oh I will I'm just going to make sure that there is a mod out there that makes under ground bases undesirable, then people will have a choice whether to allow it on their server or not because as of now there is no choice.

Ya know which concept i would not mind seeing them revive, that zombie that was going to revive gore blocks, i was excited at a regenerator zombie, i hope maybe someday it will be back on the drawing board

yeah, i was more of a fan of a reanimater more so than radiated cops.

@faatal

I assume you are the one behind zombies attacking trees, as u talked about this many pages before. So, recently I asked Roland about some animals against trees and from the results they don't interact. It seems dogs are intended, but can you confirm bears are intended to not attack trees as well? or is it something you plan to change? :)

Have interesting question regarding spawn of Zeds: I usually buind a wall around my house at some point to have some safe ground to walk during night with crops and stuff. Not big, around 10 blocks from house walls (house itself is pretty small too). Zeds won't spawn at that territory usually BUT when Screamer bursts, and especially when that happens when I am outside walls but close to them, one or few can spawn inside and do bad things inside (like punching soft inside walls, tear down fences and stuff).

Is there any plans to change spawning of Screamer hordes in closed land?

I support your decision to make a mod. You obviously only care about server play. I am a SP local player who wants nothing from your opinion on underground threats, and I will be very dissatisfied with the idea of having to fight random worms or toxic gasses when I am collecting my resources for my Aboveground base applied to all gameplay from the devs. I like the idea of the regular zeds pounding downwards just as well as sideways. I don't care for your witch hunt of MP exploiters affecting my gameplay.

well, the gases make sense and is realistic. Without proper ventilation, you would have issues breathing in an underground base. Not a fan of a worm, but i think fumes from forges or lack of o2 would be pretty nice.

The code should have them attacking trees. What they will actually do is undecided.

Just make 6 forges and keep them running. You'll have zombies generating in no time.

TFP, Roland... Thumbs down to you guys. I'm sorry. I don't care about a release date or anything like that. Figure out what game your making... And just balance it.

Do you want a Voxel game? Then build a Voxel game that supports a wide variety of game play. Otherwise, what the hell is the point? Other than you're overly invested at this point.

Do you want a straight up FPS game with zombies? Then just make it an FPS with zombies.

Do you want it a tower defense? Then make it a tower defense.

Do you want the game to be all of this and more? Then let it be all of this and more and ignore these people telling others how to play. You can't do this without a ton of options, usable at a menu. You just can't. If you're unwilling to build options to be a game that does everything with a menu that supports tweaking game play, then don't be a game that aims to do everything.

This is the heart of all of these arguments. Maybe it's time for a new game definition... That... or check yourselves for a moment. What... are you building? When's the last time you actually asked that to yourselves? Because right now? What the hell is 7D2D aiming for at this point?

I'm not sure why TFP should adhere to any standards in terms of genres, as opposed to making their own unique thing (which so far has been working out great for them). As for options, you realize we're still in alpha and with systems constantly changing? The options will, if anything, come with a full release, including a Steam workshop to add even further, easier customization. Complaining about options in an alpha when you actually have a metric tonne of them in the XMLs is silly.

I'm really not sure where your confusion about what 7DtD is comes from, and you sound very distressed about it. It's a pretty straightforward game to me. Scavenge, build, kill zombies, survive.
