If the headbobsimulatorextreme2000 of zombies on top of spikes is reduced. Then I would feel for the Devs to remove damage of upside down spikes. However.... as it is right now.
- Mega annoying headbob

- zombies glitching through spikes (I hope this will ever get fixed) meaning you can't damage their head.

- because of the weird position of dead zombies, more zombie corpses get hacked away.

Especially the glitching and the headbob are so annoying. That said, zombies glitch through more objects than just spikes. Which is also mega mega mega annoying.
Exactly. I'd much prefer another style of spikes that were upgrade-able, but don't have the circus act. Something like:

Where they are still reinforced metal, resilient enough not to break each time, and still damaging to hurt/slow the zombies without this huge logs that they glitch into.

 
I could be wrong but I don't think Fataal is actually talking about increasing the sound the player hears coming from the monitor but increasing the sensitivity at which the entities can hear/react to it.Example:

<Noise ID="5" range="50" volume="20" time="2" heat_map_strength="0.3" heat_map_time="120"/>

This has nothing to do with your volume settings and what is being outputted to your monitor and is only used by the entity.

So even if you change the range="50" to range="100" or volume="20" to volume="100" It changes nothing to the games volume output coming out of your monitor but it does affect the entities ability to "hear" acknowledge it.

Well, we don't want you going deaf playing the game. I was talking about noise generated. What the zombies hear. Guns were only like 2 or 3 times louder than jumping.
 
Dude how loud do you have to have the sound for the neighbors to call the police on you it must be rattling the walls, you either need hearing aids or you need to move.
Dude! joke never happened. But Sound and the Settings are very terrible and could take an Overhaul from a Specialist. Seems since Faatal got the Job he´s doing Everything for TFP...

again, I could be wrong and maybe he is changing the sound clip db levels.

edit: If he is changing some sounds.. my vote is: Increase the zombie footstep clips and lower the Auger and Chainsaw running clips. ;)

I couldn't tell that it was a joke. I mean, crazier things happen in this world. One time, my friends and I had the police called on us for a noise complaint over...a game of Hearts. It was a very raucous card game, and we weren't drunk. (Go figure that the drunk game of Spades on another night was perfectly fine.)

 
From what I remember/was told, if the outside light on a house is brass then the fixtures inside would be brass.
As it is right now, there is at least one POI that has brass light fixtures on the outside, and all the faucets and light fixtures inside are also brass. There could be another similar, yet still unique POI that also has all brass inside. However, there's at least one POI that has brass light fixtures on the outside, but the lights and faucets inside are made of iron. I know this because every time I see brass on the outside, I'm hoping it's all brass on the inside, but that's not always the case.

I kinda wish I had checked out these houses in detail until I could possibly tell from the outside which house it turns out to be on the inside. Maybe some have railings on the porch, or some other aspect that differentiates them from the others at first glance.

 
So we've heard quite a bit about RWG.

We know a bunch of new POIs are coming. From the looks of some of the ones seen they appear a bit larger than the older POIs.

Has the size of Navezgane changed at all, or just packed tighter with the new POIs?

 
Really? My ears...As the Guns aren´t loud enough...My neighboors call the Police if i play 7dtd..

I have to lower the sound but its impossible to hear anything else then...

How about a option to lower gun sounds for people?

Hey XEEN I have an idea, how about you play the game the way you want to play, I play the way I want to play. And you stop thinking that your way is the only way. #Control issues much?

 
Im for one am glad the underground is not a safety biome anymore. I will finally go and try to build underground again and not get bored in 5 days. Building underground needs a whole other approach than above ground and its fun to do. For me the lack of actual danger was the reason not to. So this is not an attack on those who want to play without danger but a joy moment for me personally as i can now again try an underground base again and worry! :)

no way!!? .. so its doubled now? . became 60 bugs to go :( .... lol . i still want him around just to give us some hype and clean alpha. :)
and please smaller patches after this one. do we agree on that ? MM is silent for a while and we are still far form page 2000. ;)
Noone tought that bigger patches means years of waiting. with smaller upgrades, we would have an insight into the competence of their work.

So doesnt think this will happen. Now we can say, wow they did 2 systems, 2-3 new textures+sounds for the minibike, new poi, quests, some mods.

took a year with that team so...

a half year would be decent, like before btw. hope is all we have, so find some gods for yourself :)

we with wifa played last time in 7dtd 1 year ago … we want to play again:)

sorry for stupid question but

we can wait 1-2 week to start game again... is any chance to 17 alfa in public during nearest 2 weeks? if no then we start with 16.4 …
