Hey guys. I know you all are joking around but let me clarify something. Prime is a lead developer and is authorized to release information and do videos as he pleases. The things he revealed were secrets that only lowly Roland was not authorized to discuss until or unless a developer brought it up.
So there won’t be any butt whoopings. Prime messaged me and said he would give me a few days notice next time so that all who read the forums can get an announcement.

As for the first page I will update it as soon as I can. I’m on vacation with my family and we’ve been doing a lot of traveling and I haven’t had access to a desktop and doing the edits necessary are not good to do on a phone.

In fairness, I think some were just playing up Prime's own indications that he maybe wasn't supposed to share things. "Lead developer" still is not "Joel."

I have no doubt that everything is fine though.

Understood: Developing lead makes one impervious to whoopings, probably because lead protects from X and gamma rays.

Does MM do whoopings with a gamma ray cannon? If not and he uses the more common club I think an aluminium developer would be just more agile than a lead developer. And everyone wants to do agile development nowadays.

Roland, have a nice vacation. We promise to not do any bad things while you are away. No need to check the forum. We are all nice and all.

Everyone: Banning someone is also not good to do on a phone. :fat:

Roland on vacation! hah... dont fall for it folks.

i have seen his "family truckster" sitting out front of the TFP build for 5 days now and havent seen any movement there...

i suspects he and his family are holding the staff at gun point until the cave-in and put the zip lines in 7dtd... now!

 
Im VERY disappointed this couldn't be announced ahead of time. They have Facebooks and Twitters. This is the exact kind of thing that makes people doubt the Fun Pimps. And for once I don't blame them. Instead of worrying about organizing streamer previews, MAYBE announce and organize when a public Q and A with the devs are going on? I'm a simple modder and even I am aware enough to know if I'm going to publicly answer questions on my mod, I should probably let people know its going on first.

So was this announced ahead of time, say more than a few hours notice? Things like this need more than a few hours notice. For once I agree with people here, and it pains me to say it. This forum is the LAST thing on anyones minds.

TFP has Roland, but they dont have a PR person. Self Promotion is all thats left, and it show how much they all talk to each other outside the workplace. I am surpised @kinyajuu even joined Prime on a stream, I do think it does need to happen more often since its so much easier to communicate thru the various forms of media than it was when TFP/7D started with EA.

Having said that, there are a lot of disgruntled players that wanted more interaction with TFP, and now thats starting to manifest, some have lost their bark while others continue to cry like a baby ( see reddit ).

a blazing hot fire,

and a hunting knife...

When one of your team is badly hurt you:

-Start a big fire

-Drink the entire bottle of whiskey

-Toss the knife to your buddy as say, "Hey man, I'm too drunk to help you, might as well cut your own throat, throw yourself into the fire or listen to a drunk mans tales of woe.

For some reason I now play SP...
