Yeah, I could see Death Valley getting some legit thunderstorms... Dry in-land heat meets cooler winds off the ocean. Must be awesome. I just bought a house in Chandler with no neighbors behind us or to one side so we have a clear view of most of the sky... Looking forward to some awesome storms =)I've lived in AZ and Death valley can put on a show bright enough to read a book by at night with no trouble.. doesn't happen as often though.. but when it does..
It refers to busted steam pipes burning you, falling traps and stuff like that.@Faatal
I would like to ask you a question, environmental dangers to which it refers?
tormetas? snow? extreme heat?

Haha - I totally forgot about that bicycle... I cant wait to ride circles around some zombies on my Huffy while licking my ice cream.Just passengers. The 4x4 is functioning just as well as the minibike, bicycle and motorcycle.
ROFL!Haha - I totally forgot about that bicycle... I cant wait to ride circles around some zombies on my Huffy while licking my ice cream.
There are no other zombies in the area. Zombies aren't spawned until the chunk is loaded and they would still count towards the maximum number of zombies that can be spawned.I am playing 7DTD right now and had a thought... It would be awesome if when the random hordes are spawned during the day, not just the horde, but all zombies in the area that are awake, lock on to your position as well. This way when those random hordes are heading your direction, it is not just one big conga line coming at you, but the danger could come from multiple directions as well.
This could make for some really intense battles and help overcome the quantity issue since we cannot have hundreds of zombies in the game at the same time without crashing it.
POIs do have some traps.@Faatal

Others have changed network code, so maybe.@faatal has the issue where while playing multiplayer a zombie can hit you from like 10 feet away been fixed?
Not planning on doing anything like that for A17.Haha - I totally forgot about that bicycle... I cant wait to ride circles around some zombies on my Huffy while licking my ice cream.
@faatal... Can we get that little "ching-ching" sound added? Maybe bind it to "H" for a horn? That would be hilarious and a good way to ride around and attract zombies from out of their dark corners.
It's a feature not a bug !!!@faatal has the issue where while playing multiplayer a zombie can hit you from like 10 feet away been fixed?

I used to get excited when seeing the EA logo. Oohh how that changed over time.![]()
uhhh... that wasnt the point... the zombies are spawned inside the chunk as well... and its not about more its about direction...There are no other zombies in the area. Zombies aren't spawned until the chunk is loaded and they would still count towards the maximum number of zombies that can be spawned.
I think I read on here a couple days ago that they put experimental under a password so Roland could make a video to instruct streamers on how to access it when it's ready. I'm sure that as soon as they release experimental to the public, it will become an option again. My 7dtd no longer says [Latest experimental] next to it in my steam library, and i can't choose that option anymore either in the betas list. Is that the same for everyone? Is it maybe a hint that we're getting close?
I've been checking the forum pretty much daily for any news and i'm really looking forward to a lot of the new content, it's going to be EPICC!!!111

In the xml the variable is called "MaxAlive" if memory serves. All zombies, whether part of the horde or not, are likely to contribute to the number of zombies alive. Once the shooting starts I'm pretty sure all other zombies in the area will be coming for you anyway.uhhh... that wasnt the point... the zombies are spawned inside the chunk as well... and its not about more its about direction...what would be more awesome? a congaline just slowly waddling across... or every zombie in the vacinity suddenly moving towards your current direction?
But he's not asking for more zombies. He's asking for zombies to come from different directions, to make fighting them more interesting. As it is, the wandering horde is currently a buffet line of free xp. And you may not necessarily be next to your base when it happens. I'm usually out looting when they zero in on me. There usually are extras hanging around in the chunk, because I don't stop to kill every single zombie I see. I would never get anywhere if I did that.In the xml the variable is called "MaxAlive" if memory serves. Who leaves zombies alive near their base?
