Oh! well if it's rocket science we are talking about here then it must be difficult.

I wasn't being dead serious, I was poking the bear to see what response I would get. =P

It seems like it is a long awaited feature that has been put on the back burner over and over so I wondered what the hold up is, sure I could have simply asked but what fun would that be?

maybe because the minibike could hold a passanger. a jeep with 4 seat, and yet we still cannot hold passangers. or because the game is in alpha since 2013, but mostly, they colud do that, but... here we are. waiting for the 6-10th REworked system.

And be patient; when the game is done, THEN you get to whine about what feature you want that isn't in. Until the game is finished, maybe start working in changing your perspective.

It takes two (or more) people to work on multiple occupancy vehicles, it takes a single person to work on single occupancy vehicles.

The minibike was largely a test to see how a vehicle would play in the game and it's always been very likely that the vehicle code was going to modified/replaced with something better (as has happened). There's little point in adding a massive amount of features to something that was going to be changed, you're just adding more features that need to be reworked.

 
Multi-passenger vehicles is simply NOT a feature you can just drop in shortly before a release.There are a lot of interactions and network shenanigans that need to be tested thoroughly.

"Just saying " is one of my most hated phrases that i read from people like you.

Devs as well as regular Folks here have explained it pretty well.

Multi Passenger System has simply no priority. Why should it?

Just because other Games have it, doesnt mean this game needs it in its alpha state. Yes its been in alpha since 2013 and I myself wish for a faster development too. But its a small Studio and they have a clear Vision, Progress is there and you allready see that they PLAN to implement Multi- Passenger Systems. It just didnt make the cut for A17.

I haven't read back through all the relevant post for context but I am sort of like him. I wouldn't call it whining but concern about something being added. Asking about it when the game is finished is like when you're on a 8 hour road trip and 10 minutes in your kid in back seat says they have to pee. Parents response is most likely "Why didn't you mention that before we left?"

Just saying.

Tell the truth, you would mod in the behemoth so you would have a passenger and could use the car pool lane.

 
I'm not saying development is taking long. I'm just saying that since A16E came out, I have had 2 birthdays, I got married, we made plans to have a honeymoon, and we probably will be making that honeymoon :p

We have had randomizers for making our characters in games for as long as I can remember playing RPGs. How hard would it be to implement that type of code for the zombies?

It was already done and then removed.

The characters are created using a system called UMA. It's been determined that the UMA system is too intensive on system resources to be used for zombies. Honestly? The UMA system _does_ have quite a few memory and speed issues but I still miss the old UMA zombies.

my perspective has changed long ago, when i had to wait a year for an update. still.

its hard to be positie, since the modders keep the game alive, instead of the content updates. yearly updates made my opinion. i bet A17e will came only at the end of aug. or later.

btw we talked about the passanger seat, then suddenly they say its not gona happen yet.... disgrace. what else should i feel. cheated... fooled. the jeep is just a new texture for players. we dont care about coding. all we see is the minibike got 2 new textures. and it took 1 year
