Put me in that camp. Id do it in Ravenhearst if i could. Like the health bars on zombies, its something we never used to have or need that was added that I think breaks immersion. I remember when they were added to blocks most around here hated them.

The dev's have said that the HP bar is part of the WIP. It is not known if it will be in the release of the Alpha or not.

So don't worry about it... yet.

 
Also, is "ant" supposed to be an insult? These little critters have super powers...

If a human was as capable as an ant, they could:

Run about 50 MPH.

Carry around 4000 kg over their head.

Bite steel bars in half.

You know, like my 7D2D character.

I may have slightly modded my character to play appropriately in Guppy's Medieval mod...

Got this feeling there will be some sort of these bars, but in a limited way. No more talk about them. Till we see what pimps have. Ok guys ?

Yes, the experienced player may want to remove them, for everyone else it is a very useful display to assess your skill progress and also to observe the influence of stamina. Without it most people would have no reasonable way to find out how low they can go with stamina before they lose efficiency.

This is also one of the displays where in reality your muscles would tell you to slow down but the computer has no way except with such a bar or maybe audible hints like huffs and grunts (with the danger of eventually overloading that sense)

And suffocate because of an insufficient respiratory system.
