A new species of snake has been discovered here and it slots nicely into the top ten deadliest snakes!

I think we have 8-9 of the top eleven and a few of them are found in and around town here.

Antivenom is a must at the local hospital :)

Not a bad feed either if you cook em right.

 
Wish AI survivors was added, guess Alpha 18. I see no reason for quest system in a survival game. This isn't Skyrim.

Looking forward to AI survivors/bandits too, but also welcome questing and additional RPG elements: adds to the fun and longevity of it all!

What's the point of AI survivors without quests? You wouldn't be able to interact with them in any meaningful way.

What if quests involving AI survivors are part of the plan? I look forward to both being implemented.

This game isn’t exclusively any other game. It’s a hybrid game and always has been. Even with quests it still ain’t Skyrim. It also has tower defense but it ain’t DG2. It also has farming but it ain’t Stardew Valley. It also has block by block building but it ain’t Minecraft.

But it still is a survival game as well.

Has anyone tried out NeebsGaming's map yet? Kind of fun exploring the world I've watched them destroy on YouTube... Just killing time waiting for A17! HDD crashed in my laptop - now up and running with a fresh, crisp SSD and tried to start a new A16 map... I just couldn't do it! The A17 hype train is a A16 hype drain :bi_polo:

No, but I've been checking out the medieval mod for 7 days... Still a little rough around the edges, but hella fun imo.

I’ve been watching Kage play that Gup, it looks awesome - congrats and well done!

I haven't downloaded it yet, but from watching the videos I can tell it is Navezgane plus whatever crazy stuff they built. Horde night seems to be in a different spot each time, and some of their builds are crazy.

I've had some fun with that mod. I think it's got to be the most complete overhaul that I have seen so far.

That is one thing I have yet to do... explore mods. I'm still fairly new to 7DTD. 540 hours since Jan/Feb time frame. What mods would you suggest I play with while waiting for A17?

It is Navezgane, but still fun to go in and mess around with their builds. That bowling alley area is legit, but died about 4 times trying to get in.

 
@madmole Would it be possible in the future to add shared chest, that would be a huge quality of life, by shared I mean like ark where 2 player can use the same chest at the same time.

Valmod expansion is a solid choice for same playstyle with some added features, overhaul valmod is a great way to experience a new game entirely without needing 16gigs of ram to do so

War of the Walkers can also make a solid first pick for a mod. It does require a little more to run but it's still great. Gnamod Horde Mode is also super fun if you want an arcade style game, it works completely differently to Vanilla :) It all depends what you're looking for in a mod :D
