I died on the streamer hill last year and Im not afraid to admit that I was thoroughly wrong over it. Streaming is the future of advertisement like it or not, and their team is comprised of good people. I have enjoyed getting to know Bearded Guys Gaming, Kage is a huge fan of Ravenhearst and fun as hell to watch and Pokket is very awesome to her audience and just had a very successful charity stream. Kickz speaks for himself. He's a great guy who deserves his success and ALL of the above are fans of the game as well.
There are plenty of other things to get mad about. If anything the streaming actually helped keep a few major bugs from creeping into Experimental that EVERYONE would female dog about, even though you try to say you wouldn't have.

So yeah, lighten up on the streamers guys. Like Gup said the QUALIFIED forum members are already either on the Dev Team or are already beta testing.

I wouldn't mind if the streamer pool grew a little more GameEdged being one of them. Would also like it if it included other Streamers from other countries. Like Japan, Mexico, Germany etc,.

Can we get a tool..that enables a player to pick up a block or destroy it with one hit. Like an anti-nailgun. Even make it a rare loot drop or a quest.

Many times when laying out a wall for example, a bit of lagg or just generally screwing up and you place a block next to whatever you are building, in the wrong place.

Then you have to pull out the pickaxe or the axe and spend 5 minutes removing it.

Can we get a one hit removal or pick up block for the person placing them?

This would REALLY be helpful when placing a land claim. ---place it and pick it up in one shot.

If you're playing SP there are admin tools commented out in the xml's with ridiculously high abilities, such as one-shotting concrete blocks.

Or you could do what I do, map an unused mouse button to auto-mine.

 
I have tested the game and also played the game for a long time. Not sure how any of us streamers don't know how to do the stuff in the game. The other guys on the stream team have plenty of how to videos about 7 Days to Die.

Not quite definite yet. We'll see whether faatal is happy enough with what he's testing to keep it in. I took his announcement as more of an update on what he was working on since he's keeping us posted on AI and pathing work. If he comes on and confirms that it's definitely in A17 then I'll add it. It would be disappointing to have to remove it.

I could add bandits for a couple of weeks and then remove them.... :p

 
It's a show. Streamers who play efficiently and don't screw up in hilarious ways are boring to watch. =P

It depends. When I'm in the mood for hilarity, then yes, screw-up (Neebs Gaming?) is perfect.

When I want to see a showcase, or learn new tactics, then no. I want to see proficient gaming - not the Clown Show - and anything else is just a waste of my time. Probably 90% of the streamer/youtuber's I've watched fall into the "they look like newbs" category.

I'm pretty sure RWG will be bigger if they've implemented a system which solves the twitching when too far from the centre of the playing area.

For 7dtd the limit would likely be the amount of disk space required to store the pre-generated parts of the terrain system. I'd be surprised if RWG is now less than 100km across.

I just can't wait to watch someone try and wait out the night on the roof of a house and get detected by a passing night horde.

Navezgane is bigger and as Gronk said the means to having larger Random worlds without shaking is now in there for those that want to mod it.

So 10km radius is still the standard map size? Fair enough, after all of these years I've never found the radiation boundry although I've never actually gone looking for it either.

Any idea on how big RWG can get before it starts running into issues?

nope. Like you, I haven't ever felt the need to go beyond the set limits but I'm sure there will be many willing testers to push the limits and report back.

Maybe a whole brag thread about how far people can go without the shakes. Xeen can say "potato" to all the losers who can only go to 12k... ;)
