I wanted something like this this for modding the club more, like dip the club in lead then glass, lead filled club wrapped in wire, you get what I mean. There are many more versions of a Club we can Mod into.I like changing the color, maybe we could do engraving, notches for kills, color patterns or tiles.
For some reason...this made me picture dipping a club in chocolate or cheese dip. Hmm, must be lunch time lol...

Nope. Joel hasn't started playing an actual game yet. I'm watching for it. As soon as he posts his first gameplay video instead of just showing random stuff, I'll advance the color. Remember, the devs determine the speed of development progress and not anything posted at the top of this forum.
The list at the top is derivative--not causal.
But have you actually tested this hypothesis? Maybe it works both ways. You advance the color and MM sees it and says, "Oh, Im already playing A17. I better post another video." He then posts one and we all get A17 that much sooner? I know it's a long shot but anything is possible, right?

A video would definitely be awesome. Would love to see more of the skill/perk/attribute system or of the quest system.
also anyone seen rolands color tint video yet? Here is a link.

It’s an old video. Yesterday I changed it to public from unlisted so as to answer a question someone had about tinting items. Sorry for the confusion. :)

Wow, we have so many TFP spys. I thought it was only guppy who was peeping through rolands windows. Lol

Plus the Hitler of the Zompocalypse and how one of your quests is to defeat him?

Now that's an idea to run with.

Having a bandit leader, or indeed an entire bandit group, with nazi-inspired overtones would be fun and a nice nod to the forum traditions. Perhaps the infamous "Duke" and his gang if that's still the plan for a main bad-guy.

Given the Southern United States penchant for highly organised groups of rather... right-wing people... it would fit pretty well. Thanks to Call of Duty and films such as Dead Snow (<- watch them if you haven't already) there has been a link created between nazi's and zombies which would be a good trope for TFP to tap into.

No offence meant to our friends in the Southern United States who aren't nutters... love you :-)

Roland is the original peeping tom. I only get to peeping when it's close to release time.

Those ideas sound cool. All of them would require replacing the club's texture, or adding a decal. Which would be nice features to have, since as the video shows tinting is limited. That tinted AK just looks black to me. It looks like it's multiplying the base texture with the "tint", which only works well with light textures.

Wouldnt it be cool if all human characters were real players and you can obtain launch codes to fire nukes at each other?

Oh wait, i am thinkig of another game hehe.

Nazi Zombie Army = awesome game!

A Nazi zombie army (bandits figured out how to use zombies for their own bidding) or Nazi bandit quest line would be pretty epic and not at all unbelievable. Or you could make them be religious extremists instead. Some crazy thing like that.

Can't say i'm looking forward to many upcoming games but this has genuinely peaked my interest. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the fallouts and look forward to see how they flesh out the multiplayer aspect, interesting times ahead.

@faatal

Any chance we get more customisation options of zombies? Specifically: dmg against player, dmg against structures, more options of their moving speed, the way and how well they sense a player(sight, hear, smell), the way they behave (dig underground or not, hitting the most vulnerable blocks or random(because I beleive that zombies are not supposed to be engeneers)) It would be great to be able to fine tune all this options, helps to avoid immersion breaking.

I live in the southern US and we really are mostly nutters so, no offense taken.

You'll know when it's going to happen... you'll know.

People are just boarding the hype train now and getting themselves comfortable, there's tea and biscuits, its all quite lovely.

Once MadMole releases a gameplay video you'll see the hype train leave the station. Speculation becomes rife and conversation become inane. Excitement builds as videos are released and certain features are confirmed or denied. The people spamming drivel on the forum get throughly flustered, the conversation becomes increasingly aggresive as people have disagreements over whatever features have included or excluded.

Eventually a rough release date will be announced and the forum tips over the edge into full-on hyperactive toddler mode. As the release date approaches the posts get faster and more nonsensical. The number of people refreshing the forum reaches a feverish state, traditionally crashing the website and sending everyone over to the discord feed for a while. Some of us still remember MadMole's various body parts chatting in IRC for a while :-)

The alpha is then released, there are various posts of "downloading now!" and a relative calm settles over everything...

Then the bug reports start coming in...

I hear things about diggers from faatal. Please tell me diggers are confirmed for A17. Pretty please.
Yes, this is true. Wolves, bears and possibly zombies.

Traditionally, a hard working Australian, but none of the Zeds I’ve seen have growled ‘cooee cobber’ so I’m guessing they’re Zeds that dig 😁

Yes. You can do all of this now. 17 should make it even better.
