Guys my futility muscles are killing me!! If only i was capable of ignoring this forum for a year... but no, by then we'll have just started A18 and starting a game in A17 would also feel like a waste of time. ... should I play A16 now? would i get burnt out by the time a17 came?
Depends on your play style. And how much you play in a week. I would think that you would be able to play A16 and still be enjoying it when A17 hits. I do not know you though and you may get burnt out in a week .

OK, do what I do and try to think of differences between clowns at the circus and political debates.
The only difference I've found were clowns hold my attention 1.75 seconds longer.
The red noses at a political debate are from alcoholism. :-)

i have just 2 little questions

1. will you add more vegetable plants like tomatoes salad and carrots

2. since we have electricity in the game is there a chance that we can build a oven for cooking i know we have a campfire for that stuff but it would be more realistic if we had a oven too

It was planned but as with anything, only so many hours in the day. A little birdie told me that the chat window got some love for a17 and that you'll have exactly what you're asking for.
Keep in mind that we cannot code everything all at once and we have to prioritize things. Some things have to be lower on the list and some higher, they can't all be top priority. While it may seem like a long time for such a simple thing to some, it's not about it's simplicity. It's about having bigger items on your plate and having to finish those before touching the lower priority items.
Wow, that's awesome. You might find it funny that I have been requesting this feature since 2013:

And as D-Day approaches, lets not forget: Experimental is ONLY for those VERY special people who will selflessly endure and help overcome all errors that stand in your way!

Remember! You cant spell Experimental without Experienced Players... Or was that Mental Players... WHELP!! Its good to have both!! :)

thats like breaking for a stop sign thats miles down the road

and its only for those people? there an ID to hop onto experimental? maybe a bouncer? a riddle that those special few who know the answers?

Would anyone know why suddenly my anti-virus is treating the EAC thing like a bad thing? Got a bunch of warnings I was being invaded and the game would not run... :-(

Specifically, it is my laptop and that anti-virus.. this desktop could care less apparently... :-/

Many have said it and it goes without saying - in preaching to the choir - but 7 Days To Die is utterly amazing. I've sunk thousands of hours into Ark: Survival Evolved, and other time sink games; Skyrim, Fallout, Minecraft, Factorio, Subnautica, etc. have occupied far too much of my time. However there is just something far deeper and serious about the design approach to 7 Days To Die. The trepidation of first playing and getting to know the world. But mostly for me it's the world’s tangibility, intrinsic value, visceral experiences, emergent narratives and epic set pieces. It's a living undead world with vast potential for endless exploration and adventure. End of romantic exposition. All that to say that there is enough for me to be happy with in A16 that the wait for A17 is easily tolerable because of what this game is already.

Wait what?I share you enthusiasm for the game though! ;)
Those stories that you tell your friends later which stem from different mechanics working together to create a situation larger than themselves. Gestalt gaming :-)

A simple example would be the bear that attacks the zombies chasing you and saves your low-level character from death. You can never pat him on the head to thank him but that big hairy murder-machine saved your life.

Those bears are a force of nature in the game! Now I stay away from both types as its just not worth it.

Was it A15 when I watched a bear kill his way from the back to almost the front of a wondering hoard before I lost sight of him. It was one of those moments in a game you dont forget. :)

:( Feels sike the update bar is going slower and longer between update info. Any info on what they are doing regarding the micro shuttering and rendering issues especially driving a minibike? Especially since stuff can drive faster now. I really cant wait to see the new working path finding as well :) .
