Many have said it and it goes without saying - in preaching to the choir - but 7 Days To Die is utterly amazing. I've sunk thousands of hours into Ark: Survival Evolved, and other time sink games; Skyrim, Fallout, Minecraft, Factorio, Subnautica, etc. have occupied far too much of my time. However there is just something far deeper and serious about the design approach to 7 Days To Die. The trepidation of first playing and getting to know the world. But mostly for me it's the world’s tangibility, intrinsic value, visceral experiences, emergent narratives and epic set pieces. It's a living undead world with vast potential for endless exploration and adventure. End of romantic exposition. All that to say that there is enough for me to be happy with in A16 that the wait for A17 is easily tolerable because of what this game is already.
