*smiles*We do have quests, bosses, and hopefully bandits coming in A17 that will fill in some gaps of challenge and stuff to do once your character is higher level but ongoing post level 200 content is just going to have to wait.

The functionality of that is already included in the game but you have to mod it in to make it be "hooked up". But it isn't in a finished state which is why it is currently disconnected.

Long story short: yes there is a high probability that this will be added in once it is good enough.

with everything they are trying to add, its going to take forever to test and get working. I used to say it I thought it would be out this summer, but now i'm just hoping it comes out in 2018 :-(

I said hopefully bandits. I couldn't put a percentage on it except to say I have no idea if they will make it in. They are not a secret feature the devs are holding back to surprise us with. It will come down to time.

Well, isn't "Endgame" a term that was defined by MMORPG's? Because that type of game has a level-progression and after hitting max-level the game needs players occupied until the next expansion comes out.

Air dropped crates should "summon" a bandit horde...when you go running/biking/driving to that falling crate...it would seem like the bandits do as well...have little random groups of 2-5 bandits show up for crates , either already there , or right after you get there...

And in chess, the line between mid-game and end-game is not a hard and fast point in time, moves or pieces remaining.

I love this idea. Hope the devs see this one. Whenever bandits are ready this would be a really good thing to add in.

Very good idea and absolutely true. Anyone that sees a crate like that dropping would go to it in the apocalypse.

Actually I think anyone that saw it would go to it even if it was not the apocalypse.

Just go into 2019 with development. I think most who were patiently waiting have pretty much thrown their hands up to the "when it's done" solid, bolded, caps lock riddled, unyielding ETA.

I mean, at this point, it's 7D2D by skin only right? I can't think of a single gut of the game that didn't get revamped in A17 announcements.

Yes. Totally forgot to check for other uses of the word. In the computer game domain my statement should still be true. And MMORPG players may have really got their inspiration for the word from chess, but the meaning is quite different
