ONLY 22 BAR UNITS TO GO! Yesterday it was 24. At this rate the release should be 11 days from now!
it didn't move for a few days tho.

When it started I made a prediction for the experimental version to be released in early april. I still think april may be the case, but not as early as I thought.

How all the abilities/perks will interact is still somewhat in the air.

Radiation regen could for instance be canceled out by a burn effect. Hercules developed that in his fight with the hydra.
Replace that with: No one reads anything these days. As in games I see the dumbest questions asked even stuff covered in the games tutorials because no one reads anymore. Hell some people need their hands held for the dumbest most common things.

 
Sounds like a pick up line you may have used in the past.
Someone made up a similar one for women. They said 90% if the time you can only have two of the three: Smart, Nice Personality or Sane.

I was thinking, "Is not being sane a bad thing? I can think of some grrreat times I had with crazy chicks!!" Erm, but that applies to A17 because... gamer chicks are win!

Crazy girls usually spells crazy in bed. I think being a little abnormal is an attractive quality, then again, alot might argue that I'm not quite right in the head myself, lol.

Well, crazy in the right ways and the in right amount makes life much more fun for most people IMO.

I guess that's also what makes a great game too! :)

i still think by the end of april we will know when experimental will get out.

 
I'm just wondering if the communication-method TFP have adopted for A17 will be adjusted/changed post-A17 launch.. I do hope so.

What do you mean. Pimps will continue to talk with us no matter what. They create content now, so it same if you wanna go and see the builders build your house and all you find is all the materials, but not the building. Now they build it up as we see, and .. dont know, lets see :)

 
I have no doubt that A17 will be more fun and have a longer game arc before most people consider it a won game.

A games arc length needs good content though out or it will be considered a grind. Just like some TV or movie series that went a few too episodes too many. :)

Making the player slowly feel more empowered as they overcome obstacles is a secret that A16 missed with the endless bullet sponges.

 
is it just me, or every time @roland make a edit on first post, the red bar empty out? are we time travelling backward?
It could be him trying to represent the red bar that we saw in Prime`s video, the bouncy one. He is playing with us.

Well.. I enjoyed the interactive developers more in A16 and prior. Back when MM was still talking about his ideas on the forum, and what they were doing.

Ah, I miss these days, too. Its too quiet I know. But I remember very well that he said that when things go up to the point, where he can show us good looking and working stuff, he will be back. Much more often than now.

 
I want to see heated discussions on whether DPS is better than damage per shot. How accuracy and recoil mods favour one or the other and why this is all wrong and you should be looking at something totally different. =P
Not to use the word "Class", but some type of pre-history for the player (TFP can withhold the players history if its something amazing):

What survival/combat skills did they know before "Day 1"?

Can they have different starting gear before Day 1?

Can they specialize in one form of combat allowing a buff in speed and/or damage?

These will give a indicator of a DPS or a High Damage player and each would have different play styles, strengths and weaknesses.

A high damage player could be a Sniper "Class" but can not specialize in melee type weapons.

A Martial Arts player could be DPS, specialize in melee (Blade, blunt or Unarmed!!)

Then the Trickster player does indeed have a bag of tricks and traps. Potentially being the strongest or the weakest depending on his skills, gear and creativity in using what he has or can make! (Would be my fav!)
