I gotta say i would love that, it would be great for screenshots and people would have fun with it, I would say put it in a why not catagory for fun stuff to add, immersion is all well and good, but there has to be some fun added in for roleplaying people too lol.

 
If I increase the resolution of my monitor to shrink the size of the HP bar, does that also shrink the amount of time before A17 is released? :p

 
The old bar was alpha. This bar is gold.
Assuming that each I = 1 day was a gross miscalculation by you. Assuming that the HP bar is going to be consistently shrinking % or that each box represents a unit of time will be another gross miscalculation.

There are no release dates given. It is impossible for you or anyone else to be able to figure out the release date by counting squares and doing any sort of recognizable math. If it WAS possible then I wouldn't have put the HP bar up there since that would essentially be giving a release date.

Without jokes? What fun is that? This is the domain of the FUN pimps. People who play 7dtd are entitled to a version of the game to play which has been delivered. In fact there are several versions you can choose from if you like. Giving a release date is not something The Fun Pimps are obligated or obliged to do.

It's done when it's done. Play A16. You still have time to start over in a fresh world and play a full and complete game before A17 comes.

PS: If I think happy thoughts and say I think you're pretty cool does that rebound back at me too? :)

Yes only good for you and others of course :) ,what i was sayng was my thoughs only :p ,anyway,i know i can start a fresh game,but thats video pipms show us...not rly want to start or continue,i want to drive that motorcycle :D :p .

(I dont know if i do right but i need to ask if anyone know a pve starvation mod server,a good server with good admin,i want try new things until A17 release)

I have lost my temper I can't tell you how many times at people trying to get a release date for my update, or at taking every single thing I have said and analyzing it. I recently said we would be releasing sometime around Feb 29th and I swear to god people thought I was serious, they assumed March 1st etc.

For all the crap I give you guys on changes or features I just want to reaffirm that no matter what I love and respect what you guys do. I have always said I'm a nobody modder who messes with values and nothing more. You guys do major work, and I understand how things pop up, delays happen and you literally can NOT give a date until you KNOW you have something working (which usually means 20 minutes before releasing it) .

I'm pretty confident in saying that there is NO way they can give even a slight estimate at a release date. And whether you believe this or not you should be HAPPY they do not. If they DID give one it would only cause a major uprising if they were to delay it. And that is WORSE. Expecting a date to come, and then a week out it gets moved a month. The anger would be REAL. Especially with such a major overhaul coming. Just chill guys, enjoy the fun. Restart a world. Play a new mod ( I hear there's one coming VERY shortly) mess with the fun of the HP bar.

Also let me take this opportunity to say I am learning the ropes on how to have playful fun with dates from Roland and Gazz. The HP bar is brilliant. I may have to do something similar, just for the LULZ.

Not to poop on your rainbow, but I'd rather the Pimps focus entirely on A17 and not put a bunch of unneeded man hours into splitting and trying to make half of their update work. In the end, it would take longer to accomplish what you want.
The Fun Pimps are a professional team. They know what needs worked on and what order it needs to be done.

Until then, we have some amazing mods available to occupy your time.

Again, not picking on you, Vanessa. A lot of people want what you want. Heck, I want it! But I also have experience with running large, complex projects. Some things just take a long time to design. Other parts of the project may rely on just that one piece of the puzzle being finished before the rest can even begin to be worked on.

It's actually not that hard to just do everything step by step! You also said some things need to be done, to start others. But that does not mean that things they are already done, can't be released or does it?

Also I don't think it's unneeded man hours to give your players and also potential customers at Steam the chance to see, that something is still going on and that the game is not just a dead project!

Because that's what the 5 friends I play with already argued a few weeks ago!

("The last update was a Bugfix update and it was months ago! So it's just another dead early access game!")

I'm just happy, that I found this update post by accident and could convince them!

I also never meant to say, that TFP aren't good developers! They have proven already, that they are amazing devs!

I just think there is a reason why bigger companies do small but frequent updates and that everyone (no matter how good he is) can learn something new!

In my opinion this few hours of "extra" work shouldn't be too much for the devs to not let us wait months or years and to also show potential customers that there is still progress going on!

TFP did try out the model you are suggesting. They called it Fun Pimp Friday and for awhile they tried releasing something every Friday. Then they went to every other Friday. Then they announced that smaller and more frequent updates just don’t work for them.

So they DID try what you want and rejected it.

Just as a scientific experiment, TFP should release A17 to only mature, responsible people. Now, if that only means me, so be it. I accept that heavy burden without complaint.
