I know I'm late to the party, but anyone else think the smoke stacks on the new Jeep look too thick? I feel they should be a bit thinner.

@faatal Welcome to the forums, you new to The Pimp crew? I don't believe you've introduced yourself, I thought you were just a new user, then I saw your name was orange. I'm curious, what is it that you do?

I really need to catch up on the Dev Diary btw, I haven't been following it as relgiously as I have in the past.

Oh come on people; new dev is being active and answering some questions, give the guy/gal some love. Rep him/her.

...throw Gazz a bone too while you're at it. =)

More complex than that. Vehicles have an fbx model, 2 prefabs, entries in 2 xml files and a class in code. The blimp is basically a wheeled vehicle with zero wheels and an input function (in code) that overrides the wheeled input. We are trying to put many of the vehicle values in xml, making more customization possible.
The blimp currently has no model. It is a capsule with cubes bolted on.
Would the mods for veichles have a visibile model or they are only numerically present?

With the new physics can we jump from ramps?

I hate to say it, but I'm not a fan of the stacks. But I'm just too happy about having a Jeep in the game to really care.

The whole "clean" look of the things we build always gets to me; the minibike is good, because it LOOKS like a piece of ♥♥♥♥. This thing will not be.

He is the one in charge of the color coding in the forum.

I've been developing games for 27 years. Started part time on 7dtd back in September. Full time in December. I am responsible for vehicles and do other misc tasks as needed, like ragdoll updates so zombies can be knocked down into ragdoll (by vehicles) and stand back up.

Please share your findings. :)
Well, it works. Don't think we would have much issue shipping it. Need to keep you from exiting too far above ground and falling to death, flying out of world boundary, stop from going under water and maybe on blood moon it won't get off the ground, so you can't simply float above the zombies.

Numeric. Visible changes would probably need to be restricted to thinks like scale/size changes or colors.

You can jump easy enough, just need some speed or fall off a cliff.

I like turtles... and 7d2d. Apologies if this has already been discussed in the last 600+ posts, but will A17 add any more variety to the meat puppets, vegetation, or pagan woodland creatures? Love the game as is, just asking.

The cop acid has a far reach =) Just limit the height it'll go up to and voila, problem solved. Also have it especially vulnerable to vulture attacks.

Those talons and beaks will go right through the tender flesh of a blimp.
