Since they are still creating so much new content, it us just not playable (see first page for more info why). Would you buy a pretty car with half assembled bits? or a girl? I wouldn`t. We all wait and peacefully rage in our brains.

Thanks for the support. I think there are many people who do not like the forced use of the third-person view during the ride on the transport. This is often found in shooters, when a player plays with a first-person view on foot, and when gets into a car, a third-person view is activated. This is knocked out of the style of the game, where the first person view is the main one. I do not like it. For this reason, I did not play White Gold: War in Paradise, although in the first part (Boiling Point: Road to Hell) I played with pleasure, as in the first part there was a view from the cabin, and in the White Gold it was cut out.

At one time I was amazed by the new parts of Far Cry from Ubisoft, because during all actions and events was a permanent view from the first person . This creates an incredible atmosphere of immersion.

In 7 DtD already there is animation of a steering wheel and hands. I do not understand why not make a view from the cabin. It should be very simple.

Remember, in the first videos, where the minibike was shown, there was the first-person view? There still was no steering and hands animation and it looked crooked. But now there is everything necessary to make the view from the cabin look good! Here, it seems, is a screenshot, where the character sits on the minibike from the first person without of the specific hands animation:

I am pretty sure that japanese can make you one, already. Robotic, but human like. And I am not gonna say for what they are gonna use it. ;)

There are two main reasons that games will kick you into third person when driving a vehicle.

1) Vehicle mesh complexity.

If you place a player in the driving seat of a car with a first person perspective you have to make sure the inside of the vehicle looks good with a dashboard, pedals and other driving gubbins. No matter how detailed you make it someone will complain about a minor thing such as the speedometer not giving an accurate reading and such. Mesh complexity was the main reason that a first-person GTA wasn't attempted until very recently.

2) Peripheral vision.

It's a lot easier to drive from a third person perspective because a first-person game tends to lack peripheral vision. This isn't really a problem if you're doing a run-and-gun but becomes a major issue when driving.

Yes, I'm the kind of fanny who likes to show the flaws in their own ideas. (British English, it's worse)

Fanny isn't exactly profanity in the US. In most parts I've been it simply refers to someone's ass end, which also isn't filtered. There are belt purses called "fanny packs" here as well.

The British version has so many more variations :-)

1) A ladies front bottom. We love hearing Americans say fanny-pack :-)

2) A ladies name, although somewhat out of fashion these days. Fanny Cradock was once our version of Martha Stewart... without all of the prison tattoos.

3) An idiot, usually while questioning a gentleman's masculinity. Predominantly used in Scotland.
