Probably as resource.asset adjustments.Since when are these 7days updates so massive (in bit-size).. This patch is 1.2 Gigs..?
And Steam is stuck on preallocating for the past 20 mins..

Good. Well, I hope that kitty didn't hated quality level system too much and we have at least slight chance of getting it back.My cat. Clearly everything we do is just for my poor old cat. If you like it, that is just a bonus.
@joeMaybe suggest they add that as an option in the launcher to be able to clear? It isn't exactly where people expect to find files. I would bet most people are just deleting their save game and thinking they are good but if you don't delete those World files I assume you won't get fixes for world generation. Also, as far as I know this is the first alpha 7 Days has had files in the base game folder structure that need to be manually deleted after an update.

i just placed an improvement request for the launcher, thats all i can do.![]()
its a habit for me to delete these myself thats why i never noticed it not in launcher.
Yes, too bad they got rid of log spikes. My standart late base was big wall surrounded by layer of steel log spikes and another level of wood spikes. Was really great, ableit consumed a ♥♥♥♥load of time to get all that metall.
Oh I do have the free space, but it's probably just Steam shenanigans.Probably as resource.asset adjustments.

thanks. my server is a Windows 2012/R2 at InterNAP in Dallas. I found the files.try looking in your 7dtd base game folder in folder titled "...7 Days To Die\Data\Worlds" that is where your generated rwg files are. (thats where mine are)
however server rentals tend to do things different.![]()
as do i.thanks. my server is a Windows 2012/R2 at InterNAP in Dallas. I found the files.
I had noted if you just delete the savegame folder you get some funny stuff - so I just wiped/removed everything down to bare metal and re-installed fresh.
Yeeeah. Like instastanding and MUH EXP icon are not showing that well. This also makes it so that you're not sure if a zombie is dead, since it's not saying "loot me" when you look at it.
We know it. Poor us that have these problem and have to wait for a fix. The snowtorm outside just got more cozy here, but without being able to play its meh.Let's just say.. this latest experimental version is less stable then the last.. It's crashing all the time. Or not even loading.

agreed, experimental versions are airbag deployment tests, and we are the dummies.I don't believe experimentals are patches...we are supposed to completely wipe and do a fresh install.
Don`t tell me you dislike itagreed, experimental versions are airbag deployment tests, and we are the dummies.
you kidding? it's always been a dream of mine to one day be a crashtest dummy :3Don`t tell me you dislike it![]()
I am curious about what may be causing this? For us, the results are completely opposite. The current build runs very well for us compared to the last 2 builds. The only thing that takes along time is the first time random world generation.Let's just say.. this latest experimental version is less stable then the last.. It's crashing all the time. Yeah I'm having the same thing. The resolution is being reset, whilst the rest of the settings aren't.I don't believe experimentals are patches...we are supposed to completely wipe and do a fresh install.
I'm having no issues starting the game at all.
The one odd thing I'm seeing is when I start the game and check settings, resolution preference is set. When the game launches though, it reverts to 4k and i need to reset it back down to 720p.
I think resolution is sort of auto adjustable since I use one ultrawide or my laptops`s monitor and there is no need to change it from settings because game already know which resolution to switch to. And when you lower it as in your case, same reason brings it back.Yeah I'm having the same thing. The resolution is being reset, whilst the rest of the settings aren't.
