I am awfully curious to know whether a player-to-player trading system has ever been discussed ?
There's plenty of public servers going on and I can't help but wander how would p2p trading work in the game? If at all?

Maybe it's just "Kill thy neighbor and steal their bread instead of sharing" kind of philosophy-based game ?

Just joking hehe. .. or was I?

Anyways - any info on this will be greatly appreciated
Great question! I was wondering the same

Please keep in mind that new players do not know if a Cop is strong or what "irradiated" is and/or looks like. As long as the enemies do not have a "lvl" marking or being slowely introduced while playing every enemy could be stronger of weaker than the other one.

A learning curve is not fun when you keep dieing over and over and over and over.
The best way to handle it is to have Leveled Biomes IMO. Simple as that!

Wasteland have the most dangerous mobs, and it looks dangerous!

Good point. Old games used the printed handbook or an in-game book for such information, modern games try to give such information through books, papers, letters found in-game or dialogs with NPCs.

Possible methods in 7d:

* A letter in your starting inventory warning about zombies that might run or glow.

* Books or pamphlets that have a very high chance to be found when you are low-level could talk or warn about dangerous zombies hiding in some of the houses

* starting quests could mention them and suggest caution

* the trader you visit as part of the starting quest could have dialog options with such information with the advantage that selecting shuch dialog is purely optional

While I find a stack of ladders generally more useful than nerdpoling, if nerdpoling were to go away it would be nice to have a rope and grapple of some kind to replace it. As it is most of my nerdpoling is done during base construction anyway.

Will there be backstory of how the cop became irradiated and why he spews harmful vomit?

While fighting the first waves of zombies, he (and the rest of the Navazgane police department) binge ate bad donuts and stale coffee for 7 days straight, defending Crispy Cream donuts from the armies of darkness.

They died heroes...

That's also the back story for the games title.

I would love to have the development of 7dtd to be more story driven. But since we still dont know what happened to the world except those "Daly news" and "Nuclear" front page newspaper littering around I doubt it. ;)

This. It's just one of those QoL features which...streamline...the building process. As such, all TFP devs and moderators should love it! *cough*Roland*cough*

I'm not a coder, but restricting nerdpoling to an LCB area might suffice since most people build there. (Cue outraged responses of "What about those who don't use LCBs?" and "What about when I'm building a secondary base away from my LCB?") :p

Also I use them when mining. Which i often do away from base (LCB)

Maybe a new POI could be a Crispier Creamless donut shop.......to add to the possible back story.

RE: Quests
Will there be unique quest items or will it just be generic "Collect 12 animal hides"?
I remember Roland saying there will be 3 types of quests (please correct me if I'm wrong).

1) Fetch x items

2) Fetch satchel

3) Kill x zombies

I hope for more dynamic like clean an area from Z's, Escort NPC, produce X amount of crops to Trader in X amount of time, fortify and keep a buildings integrity of X amount% during a horde night....

I heard at one time that they were going to be making legendary items that do more than the regular base item type. It is possible that they will become rewards for some quests but they likely haven't been added yet. I have seen some that modders have added so it is likely that mods will add them in when they are remade for A17.

EDIT - for spelling.
