I took for granite that someone would come up with these puns. Let me make it crystal clear, I shale not join in.....but of quartz they are a little funny.

 
I hope Roland takes these last two pages of bad puns and buries them so deep in the forum not even A17 blood moon zombies will be able to find them.

I afraid we will have to sulpher a little more until it burns out. I lava how some of these sound and marble at peoples ability to keep it up.

 
I chalk it up to A17 being so long. None of my bismuth of how TFP works though or how long it takes for game to go gold. I know they can't really talc about it but I just wish they would get the lead out. It's just the coal hard facts of life that we will get it when they iron everything out. Not asking when though because if I had a nickel for everytime someone did I would be rich....ore at least not so poor.

I don't think they make streams, more mini-movies kinda thing. But I bet they would do good live! 5 Dukes says Simon dies in the first 5 minutes... Twice. :)

I'm laughing just thinking about Simon dying in A17. I'm betting that he dies before making a bedroll, and he ends up across the map from the party.

Now, that would be interesting. In reality, animals that roar can't purr.

Wanderdogs used to kill me all the time. Now, (esp after playing Ravenhearst) you learn to (almost) instantly react and have a 'plan' for when something 'nips' at you. (Although, wolves and bears sneaking up on you can still take a good chunk out of you first... need to have those bandages at the ready! Once you are in a 'safe' spot.)

Nah. Instead, all those Twitch and YouTube viewers get to watch a buggy, pre-experimental version of the game that, by TFP's own admission, won't be ready for general consumption...

No they won't. And it has never been stated anywhere that they will. So why are stating it like it is fact. The only true thing you posted was "won't be ready for general consumption. That is why the 'E' is there.

Streamers get A17E. There may or may not be a patch before the rest of us get it. It all depends on how it goes that weekend.

 
I'm gaming at 3440x1440, so the RX 480 isn't quite up to task. Are you monitoring GPU usage with GPU-Z or something similar? It's possibly a bottleneck, do you find your CPU usage capped out at 100% when playing?

The CPU isn't capped really but way too many spikes to 100% on one core so it is definitely a bottleneck. I would rather have 1920x1080 and keep some of the settings off minimal because I don't see a huge difference in anything above that resolution. This is partly because of my crap monitor, and eyesight, not that I'm saying there is no difference.

1st gen i7's aren't bad if you overclock the nuts off them.
But for a cheap upgrade, chuck a Xeon X5650 or X5675 in it, overclock to at least 4ghz (though they'll do 4.5 all day with a decent cooler) and your PC will love you. :)

Only reason I got rid of mine is because I wanted 8 cores for streaming purposes, but that rig is now in the hands of a friend who absolutely loves it (Xeon X5675, 6-core CPU at 4.5ghz, 24GB RAM, R9 290X GPU).

I did have to turn off my overclocking. A few of my fans died and I was too lazy to replace them so I got nervous.

That would actually be a relatively cheap way to get some more mileage out of this machine. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

 
Good morning Roland. I hope TFP increases death penalty in the game. Now that wellness is removed i am eager to see how they act in turn
