Am I high or did the physics update also have an impact on water? For some lame reason I thought I saw something about that.
Also... I have to ask if I'm high. So... Grain o salt on this memory...
You're high. So am I. I'm also drunk but that's beside the point.

Water physics and the general Newtonian physics engines are completely unrelated. The water physics hasn't been touched as far as I know.

Swim speed has changed and vehicles no longer stop entirely in water if that's what you mean?

I have no idea what I mean. But that clears it up! lol.

High and drunk. Hardcore man... Hardcore...

Thanks man! :D

Do we know if this concept of trader bob's made it in? It was one of the very first posts for the alpha 17 dev diary. posted on 9/29/17

"Here is a concept of the new Trader Bobs!

Can one of the devs let us know or maybe share some upgrades that have been done to traders?

Omfg. I was thinking how I was interested in this too and my brain finally stopped hiding your name from me. Felt like I got punched in the face when brain understood. GAH!

lol... Omg..

Also quick question about zombies disappearing!! In the video madmole was hitting a zombie and it vanished on the ground right in front of him. Since bags pop up now does that mean we will have a lot of vanishing zombies when we attack zombies on the ground to make sure their dead? So instead of hitting them to they turn into gore boxs they just of "POOF" does anyone else feel this break immersion BIG time? I was hoping they could make gore blocks work.. I enjoyed seeing the result from a good base defense.. Devs, what do you think?

Can there be a voting for this whole zombie "poofing" thing? Seems like a lot of people watching the last video were also like wtf like I was.. look at the feedback in the comments.

I keep reading Posts about People leaving to other Games... and are not hyped anymore....
Seriously, can anybody name another survival Game like 7 Days to Die?

None of the other Games have a completley destroyable, Voxel based, random generated World, with a constant Threat of starving, or just being punched in the Face by a bunch of banjo pickin, cousin dating, barefoot embarasments that have forgotten to die, and keep coming over to your House every 7 Days with more and more Nerve wrecking, Devil rejected Realtives to be a real Pain in the Pooper, where all you can do is grab a Shotgun and scream "Suckamahaga"!!!

That was my personal 5 Minute Rant, how is your day? :)

P.S. I think "fin" stands for "Fix it Now" XD
My day's is good.

We all have are ways of blowing off steam. Some of us rant while others talk about other games. We all like gaming because it's fun and nobody likes to wait.

It's what you do with the time that counts. :)

Don't let your anger eat you up.

The base of an internal tester playing on insane... less than 3 minutes into horde night.
Now this is more like you Gazz. Crazy as ever. lol

Let me guess, your Livingroom? ;)

The reasoning was performance related and to fix the dupe issue I believe. Also the clean up of corpses was considered boring gameplay by memory. Immersion was obviously considered secondary to these reasons.

I have read the last 20 pages and finally caught up. There is something that has been said in different ways by different people, but I would like to say them in one place. I am sure that I will miss some things, but hope the point is made.
*All of this is in the context of this games development.*

You bought into an Early Access game and have received the product promised.

- You are owed NOTHING else from them ever! Even if they went belly up tomorrow you are owed NOTHING.

What you want DOES NOT MATTER

What you believe DOES NOT MATTER

What you 'need' DOES NOT MATTER

What you demand DOES NOT MATTER

You are not entitled to ANYTHING

You do not deserve ANYTHING

I am sure there are a lot more, but I hoping that people can apply this for themselves.

Lastly NO ONE is responsible for your emotional state except YOU.
Now I see why you wear all that body armor… After reading your last post! lol

I will pre-empt myself by admitting this has already been talked to death....but this is a zombie game, so i bring it up again...

As far as the zeds "poofing"......not a huge fan... Personally I liked it way back in alpha...whatever,(somewhere between A10 and 14 I think.) when the zombie corpses turned into a stacking gore pile, granted the art needed a lot of love but for my 2 cents worth...I prefered that conceptto the whole , no zed corpses thing.

Yes I know its has some to do with performance....but it just seemed more...(really don't want to go with immersive) but;yeah.

Poofing is just temporary. There will be something done to make it look like rapid decay or something in order to hide the popping out of existence. We will have to live with it for at least the first part of A17, however.

I agree....minus any emotional overtones... The problem is that the modern entitlement mindset just doesn't accept simple factual arguments, feelings and opinions get in the way of the details.

No need for a vote. "Poofing" is not the end product. Those in the future who purchase the finished game will never see zombie poofing or know the temporary pain we suffered during this period of early access where we would witness zombies poofing.

I figured as much...not upset...I have faith in the vision of TFP with the game...thus far since A5.2 I have seen nothing but improvement.

Wait so.... join me on this journey here.. your'e defending your base.. turrets,, spikes, mines and your'e shooting them. You see bodies just go "poof" BAM "poof" turrets "Poof" spikes "POOF" Traps "POOF" and then bag appears "POOF". You see them all over just vanishing and you think you have some magical spell. Maybe add in a wand? I personally enjoyed going around and searching dead zombies.. Please pimps, find a better way you had over a year for this. Please don't give us that.

Roland just covered this ;) no need for any journey lol.

Are the gore piles going to be used as a decor asset? Or are they going away completely? I always found it weird that for a zombie game there are no corpses or remains anywhere (except the ones we create(d), and the one that used to be in the game that just looked like a passed out dude). I'm not counting that blood spot that shows up on the street once in a while, although it would be nice to see more blood splattered on everything. I want to see the aftermath of a zombie all you can eat buffet. Or maybe some evidence of where people fought zombies and/or burnt their corpses in as pile.

Would be so cool to see dead bodies laying around! or huge decor piles of dead bodies in streets. They could have a few varieties in cars, schools, houses. They could be randomized and could spawn in after time passes. I know they want to make it so POI's transition from bandit control, zombies, etc would love to see more immersive stuff! Like anything they need to optimize!
