I do not know if it would be difficult or not but since Halloween is coming up when a17 comes out on Halloween add a special zombie that drops good rewards but it's tougher than the other ones almost like a scarecrow zombie

 
So I up'd my gamestages for hordebloodmoon ZombieSpawn to 150, MaxSpawn to 50 and Duration to 6. Does Duration mean I get 150 Zeds with 50 at a time every hour for 6 hours? If so, this is going to be fun!!

I could get behind the idea of a reskinned farmer with a punkin for a head, have him spawn chance on any corn field and give him feral wight stats and the screamer ability and that could add up to some surprise terror. I dont remember the date of the epidemic from the lore...was it near Halloween? if so it could actually make a little sense.

 
I hope the game plays smoother, I got an AMD FX 6 core 4.2ghz 32 GB of ddr 3 or 4 ram a gtx 970 and a SSD drive but even on default settings except texture quality on half standing still I get 40FPS running it dips around 21FPS on full it is 27FPS standing still and 11FPS running

Maybe. Maybe not. Poor single threaded is still poor.

Its time to let it go. Upgrade.

 
How many people plan on playing 7DTD 40 or more hours the first full week of release?
I myself will try to squeeze in 24hrs total the first weekend. I will easily get 36 or more hours the first full week.

50-60 (although 70 is possible). Full time job (no vacation) and band (which I am leaving. Partly for this...)

And I do plan on seriously 'testing' (and reporting) - not just 'playing'.

I believe that duration means how long until the next wave. You won’t get more than the 3 waves. If you kill a wave fast then you wait for the duration until the next one.

Also note that the zombies per player in the menu settings overrides the maxalive value. If max alive is 100 but your settings are 8 per player and you are alone you will only get 8 zeds at a time. 2 players will get you 16 and 3 will get 24 and so on but it will still be 3 waves only and the faster you kill them the faster you will run out of zombies before the night is done.

 
I may be wrong but I think the most zombies you can have in a single horde night is 1500

300 first wave

300 second wave

300 third wave

And 600 trickle at 3 at a time

But you would have to have a very high gamestage.

3000 or something like that.

on a side note is it just me or does anyone else, while running down a very long single block wide tunnel at bedrock, hear the Doctor Who theme music?
