Was early july now its on august LMAO, a year for a alpha patch, this 7 days is such a joke, 7 years and the guys cant leave alpha.....
Just find a company to buy ur game and finish it....

So many games coming out, i was coming to this forum almost every day since last year....promises over promises and they never release it...

they allways took their time and we all here want a great game. it´s playable, no need to rush. Shure waiting sucks... "Find a company to buy your game" is a awefull comment.

A16 is finished right now and is an awesome game!

A17 is looking like it's going to be an even aaaaaawesomer release!

The problem is with gamers understanding the nature of the development style of 7DtD. It's not a normal Early Access game that's almost finished but needs a some final polishing, or has some definite segments/levels of the game that need completion before the game is "winnable". Rather, 7DtD is a sandbox survival game at heart much like Minecraft, and its devs want to continually make it better, expanding it with more to do, better gameplay, better graphics, etc. If they brought it out of Early Access and called it a completed game, that wouldn't allow for the continued expansion of every aspect of the game. I would NOT want that much churn happening in a "finished" game. "Early Access" is an unfortunate title but is the only other choice Valve offers on Steam. Perhaps something more like "Continuing Development". A fairly unique feature most games don't have is being able to go back and play all the earlier releases of the game if you enjoyed something about a particular iteration. Whenever I tell others about 7DtD or promote the game on Reddit or elsewhere, I have to explain this nature of the game so that they won't get the wrong idea when they see "Early Access".

 
The way I see it, still having to wait a month on the release of A17 is only an increase of ~7% of the current development time. So it's manageable. As long as the game is released ~2-3 week in advance of my honeymoon :)

 
Am I the only one that would appreciate a September release so that my kids will be in school, and I can have time to play? I suppose that will probably be about the time we get the first stable release.

It will be the one where you don't have to choose experimental to have it download from steam. Usually runs slightly better than the experimental builds, but will still be patched within a few weeks.

Most zeds just have a head bob. But there are one or two that act like... well I don't really know what to say about it.

Other than they are really hard to hit no matter what you do. So in that case you have to aim for the COM, Center Of Mass.

simply that they do not give dates and that they publish it when it is ready, for my point of view it is to give false promises and not to have a word.

Are you trying to say they give false promises by not promising a release date? Seems more like they're being realistic. And at this point they have done a fairly good job of narrowing it down by saying end of July or beginning of August.
