hi

currently setting up our server. Found this in the Logs.

2025-06-28T10:37:15 8.168 INF Setting for 'DayNightLength' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 120, default = 60
2025-06-28T10:37:15 8.169 INF Setting for 'DropOnDeath' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 3, default = 1
2025-06-28T10:37:15 8.169 INF Setting for 'BloodMoonEnemyCount' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 24, default = 8
2025-06-28T10:37:15 8.169 INF Setting for 'BlockDamagePlayer' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 75, default = 100
2025-06-28T10:37:15 8.169 INF Setting for 'LootAbundance' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 25, default = 100
2025-06-28T10:37:15 8.169 INF Setting for 'XPMultiplier' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 25, default = 100

This means that we have to leave everything at default for the server to run.?!

greetings

As I said we have the same settings from the consoles. Everyone who wants to set up a server has this problem.
unless u really set everything to standart.

Having the same issue setting up a dedicated server. My friend on Xbox series S cannot connect due to these settings causing modded status.

2025-06-28T22:27:47 6.306 INF Setting for 'DayNightLength' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 90, default = 60
2025-06-28T22:27:47 6.306 INF Setting for 'DropOnDeath' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 3, default = 1
2025-06-28T22:27:47 6.306 INF Setting for 'LootAbundance' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 150, default = 100
2025-06-28T22:27:47 6.306 INF Setting for 'XPMultiplier' does not match the default (server will go to the modded category): current = 150, default = 100
These were valid configurations before the update and really shouldn't put the server into modded category.

I was able to get a dedicated server working with the “modded” tag as long as the settings were some of those that were available on the console (e.g. frequency of air drops cannot be 26 hours)

Unfortunately this also happens if you use settings available on the console. For example changing the number of days for Loot Respawn will trigger the "modded" block.
