Dedicated server issues

I am running into issues with users on my dedicated server encountering lag as soon as I log in to play. This issue is effecting all users not on my network. I have verified that the port forwarding is correct and the server shows up in the directory list in game. I have also had the other users log in without me to test and they don't encounter lag at all until I log in. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Network specs - 1 gig up and down

PC specs - Ryzen 5 5600x

                  32 gig of ram

                  Samsung M.2 drive

                  EVGA 2060 super

                  Windows 10 pro

May be quite tedious but try removing mods and adding them back one at a time; you'll need to do this on a new world, of course, for testing. I would gander it's either the mischif maker or fishing mods, but that's a rough guess.

Are you playing on the same machine that's running the server?

The player logs show the litenetlib connection failing. You should get that working.

Could be; disabled, ports not right, security software interfering. Most likely ports.

What ports have you forwarded to the server?

Do you maybe have mods installed on your machine that are conflicting with the

server's mods? You could test by removing any mods from your local game and

then try connecting.

Does the server have a static IP?

Is the server and your client PC on the same wireless network?

If so can you connect the server via LAN to see if that resolves the issue?

The only difference I see in your port forwarding is you have 8080 - 8081 and someone mentioned to me to have 8080 - 8082 open.

Not sure if that has any affect at all as I am thinking I only had to have that open to be able to see the online map.

Just thought I would mention it though.

@Gamida I believe port 8082 is for folks running Alloc’s server mod. I agree with @Jugginator that you need to start with a vanilla server and see if you still experience lag. If all is good, add in one mod at a time and test after adding each mod. Be sure to check that each mod has been updated to work with A20.6.

Yes I am also thought it had to do with alloc and for seeing the online map. I always hated dealing with port forwarding. Was told to check those online sites to see if my ports were open and even though they said they weren't I could still get my server to work.
