Look at your smug, condescending face! Can you do anything other than barking nonsense here?

Nexus Mods simply doesn’t allow hosting auto-update files. What the hell do you even know about real security?

Statement: Clarification on "Unauthorized Outbound Connections"
Recently, some users reported that our program triggers "unauthorized outbound connection" warnings. We have investigated and would like to clarify the situation:
1. Core Clarification
The Anti-Cheat core itself has no unauthorized outbound connections.
The warnings are caused by the built-in automatic update module: `ModAutoUpdater.dll`.
2. Module Behavior
This module is our universal updater and operates transparently:
Update Checks
Every 15 minutes, it sends an HTTPS request to our server containing only:
- Server Name
- Mod Name
- Mod Version
This is used solely for version verification and statistics.
Log Uploads (Opt-in)
- Disabled by default and requires explicit consent.
- Only reads log paths defined in your server configuration; it does not scan other files.
- All actions (except the network request) are clearly logged in the console or server logs.
3. Improvements
We acknowledge that the module’s sensitivity was not properly disclosed. In the next release, we will:
- Add an initialization prompt explaining update/log behaviors.
- Provide an automatic update toggle and update notifications.
4. User Options
If you do not trust or require the auto-update feature, you may safely delete `ModAutoUpdater.dll`.
This will not affect the Anti-Cheat core functionality.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Removed from nexusmods for good reasons.

My internetsecurity barked at it from day 1:
