It is about the house_modern, the big one with the pool behind,home cinema, shooting range and arrest room at the cellar, you can get for lvl 4 mission.

It happen now multiple times that the spawn for a Z at a certain location (cellar deppest spot) don't appear.

You have the orange dot pointing at the remaining Z, but there is nothing and no Z spawn there.

Edit: after farming the miltary bunker for awhile i notice, you never find any green keycard from the loot, only blue and red.

Green you only find at the container loot.

I can confirm that. Did the POI quest a few days ago and there was no remaining Z left. Even with godmode enabled and flying through the whole POI multiple times there was nothing. Also "killall" console command didn't help. Clearly a bugged quest / POI.

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to make it possible to study biological boosts and technological boosts at once? It's just that I myself am interested in digging into different mods and changing something in them, I've been sitting for a couple of hours now, and I still can't achieve this. I hope you will help. I also wanted to find out if it was possible, not for interest, but for myself. Is it possible to make the recipes and crafts that traders teach updated more often or less often, and how is this done? I also watched it and didn't understand how to do it. Thanks for your reply.

 
Got a weird bug with traders. Sometimes when i click on show me your inventory, it will not open the traders inventory and stay in the selection screen of the trader. And i can´t move properly anymore after that. I can move forward, backward, sideways, but i can´t use mouse movement anymore aka i can´t turn. Logging out and back in does give me normal movement back, but i keep getting that bug afterwards if i try again until i restart the server.

I had a case where i could use another trader just fine and one case where it happened with every trader i tried after logging in again. Happened to another member of my group aswell, so it´s either a server problem or a bug from DF i guess?

This happened in v4.01 aswell as in V4.02. We didn´t change anything in the mod besides adding the Krunch map to the server for the v4.02 playtrough. Playing v4.01 we used the medium DF map.

You have to remove the cvar requirements in progression.xml

It's a bug from trader protection being small/off. You have to reboot the server. It's not an issue in SP, or hasn't been for most players, therefore it's not something I plan to track down.

 
MP issues are generally not beeing adressed?

There is also that total freeze you get when someone near you does load an url into a enhanced sign. (We haven´t figured out yet how far away you gotta be to not be effected) Just found out about that. No biggie though, now that we know what the problem is. Our builder is often home alone, so we just need to time it right.

You need to differ if just a minority encounter a bug from time to time (low priority, and very dificult to track down special when it never happen to the developer itself). or when everyone got the problem most of the time (high priority).

When you encounter the problem, you should ask the admin of that server to reboot the server (take 5-15min until the server is back on).

The data from the URL need to be loaded,converted and be shown ingame.

Ofcouse someone who didn't got these image allready at the cache got a small lag/freeze.

Sure these mechanic could be exploided at MP special with PvP to let attacker freeze for some seconds to get an advance.

 
@Canute Not a small lag. It´s a total freeze basically. 0-1 FPS, CPU ramping up to 100% usage and it´s not over after a few seconds. I have to use task manager to get out of the game not even alt+F4 works. But as said, that isn´t really a problem for us now that we know about it and are able to avoid it easily. Not expecting a fix for this. I don´t need to restart the server, every thing is back to normal after i log in again.

No, not really. Because it's just a pain to track stuff down.

The signs are going to be disabled eventually because people have been using them to post porn on servers.

 
Oh please tell me that i can enable them myself again if that happens. They really add such a nice flair to our base. This would be heartbreaking to our builder tbh.

Maybe have them as a addon so server owners can deceide for their own?

No. I'm removing them. Because people keep doing stuff like that, and complaining that some sites DDOS their servers, etc.

It's not worth my headache to support.

 
Well. There goes our builder propably, it was the one argument that brought her back in the game. Or our ability to upgrade to a newer version of DF. It sucks that we can´t have nice things due to some idiots. Finally something that let´s you have your base look a bit nicer. Meh.

Just fail to see how that is your problem tbh. This game is PEGI 18 and ESRB rates it as M for mature. I guess you are sick of complaints about it.

Any chance you can PM the part of the XML where this is in? I might just modify it myself for our private server.

Is the story questline still in progress? Me and a friend both did the Rescue From Hell quest from Anna, but after turning it in there's no new quest and she just sends me back to the same place.

 
Having a bit of an issue here.  I wanted to play a small map (playing solo for now) that had the compopack, so I went with the PREGEN6k since all the maps marked DF except Navezgane were NoCP.  I finally got around to knocking out more scout quests after dumping about 50 hours into the map and when I do the trade route quest, the quest automatically fails with the dialogue in the quest window HEAD TO RALLY POINT:  NO TRADER.  Did I mess up by doing the PREGEN6k and the appropriate POIs aren't spawning or is this some kind of bug that I can do a workaround for?  I'd really like to progress the storyline of the game, but I really don't want to start over on a new map.  Any help is appreciated.

Pregen6k is a VANILLA map.

There are NO MAPS with compo pack right now... because it's not out.

So yes, you picked the wrong map. You have to use a map with DFalls in front of it, or risk RWG.

Thanks.  I kind of had a feeling after doing a bunch of research on it.  I'll look into working the POIs into the map.  Good weekend project.

Appreciate the clarification on that.  Not a big deal.  Just gives me an excuse to start a new game with everything I learned from my first go.  All that aside, I just want to say that with close to 2000 hours into 7DTD between vanilla and overhauls I can honestly say that the last 50 or so I've spent with DFalls has been by far the most enjoyable.  You've done a great job of taking an already great game and turning it into something spectacular.  Keep up the great work!

 
Here's your advanced warning.

A20.4 changes some stuff in various window XML files.

This BREAKS DF. Completely. Do not use A20.4 with DF.
