Is there any recommend pre-gen for 4-6 player?
we love big map.
If I want to set up to a dedicated server. (i have one set up, not sure how to set up pre-gen map on server config setting)
Should we stick with default setting, raise max zombie, max animal?
How do I pick a pre-gen?
One of the medium maps would be fine for that amount of players, but they do require players to have 16GB RAM.
I usually leave max animals alone and increase max zombies to 100.
Look in serverconfig.xml. It tells you how to pick already created maps.
he is some experimenting im doing over a 9 day period. The middle one was my first build, third one was second (neither got any water over a 4 day period.) The first pic was my latest try it had water but still no crops building.
Not sure why it's not working for you. I have a similar setup and it works fine.
Hello Khaine.(1) The armor shredder ammo mod seems to not work on multiplayer but does in single player. In single player when i shoot at military zombies with shotgun without mod they take no damage and with mod on they take damage. In multiplayer it does not matter if the mod is on or off, they still take no damage with a shotgun. Why is this happening ?
(2) The perk "The Survivor" seems to not increase the duration of the consumables.
Armor shredder definitely works in MP, cos I was playing on a server and had that setup last week.
It's not supposed to, so the localization may need fixing. It's supposed to change how long you can last between drinks instead (lowers the amount of water to stamina conversion rate)
I tried out the farmer class and am a little unsure on the details of farming - the journal entry doesn't seem to be working, with the text displaying whatever I previously had selected in the journal.
Is there a reason to use the farm plot block instead of hoeing the ground? At first I thought the hoe was farmer exclusive while the plot was what everyone else used, but then I noticed the plot also requires a recipe or farmer perk.
I kinda disliked how expensive the block was at first, but came to like how it affected my gameplay. The plot requires a bunch of resources from corpses, so it encouraged me to go out and fight zombies in order to expand my farm. I wouldn't even mind if it was the main method for farming... but with the hoe, plot blocks seem to be unnecessary. Or do they have some long term advantage, like growing plants faster or not needing water?
For normal farming, the hoe'd ground works fine.
The farm plots are required for the farmer mastery specific recipes. So for the Hydroponic plants. They need farm plot + irrigation + grow lights.
I love this mod! The most fun I've had in a game since....Fallout 3!
my 3rd playthrough, first 2 times were on Nitrogen maps...this time on the #1 Med map (which was also Nitrogen I think)
so far, so great! I'm on the latest experimental 2.51 b2 and wondering why I need to use Debug Mode to re-stock the trader inventory/quests?
I didn't after updating and it seems OK, but maybe I'm missing something...
Thank you for all the work you put into this. I really enjoy the progression, build up and balance of challenge and reward.
In the experimental build, i'm trying something out with trader faction. You need to use DM to force-restock the inventory and the quests to load the new lists.

I'm resetting my dedicated server. After learning about pre-gen is the way to play this mod. (Which Dfalls-Small should I play?)
We are playing on bluefangserver. They recommend playing on server map 8192 x 8192 or smaller. They charge $30 a month for map 12k or bigger. (not sure if my 4-6 player server will ever explore more than 8k of map)
Is there any server setting you recommend to play on? I normally play everything on default. Except for bloodmoon since we keep getting wipe after bloodmoon day 21.
I'd change max spawned zombies to 100, otherwise everything looks fine.
Personally I like small3. No idea why, I just do.

On Horde night (98 onwards) I'm getting the occassional "ArgumentException: the object you want to instantiate is null" in the consol as well as "WRN [AugioLog] AudioManager::AudioData:

lay() failed to load audio source object for AudioSource_CreatureSenseAlert". Am I the only one? Also interspersed is INF Discarding NetPackagePlayerStats for entiry Id=72718 and 72669
Quitting the main menu results in a NullReferenceException Spam in the consol until finally exiting the game.
Trying to track that down atm. I've been given a log for it and it says it's something to do with zombies, but i'm going through the F6 list, spawning them all and had no issues so far. So i'm really confused.
what are the Trader Faction Books used for? better pricing? I've had 3-4 so far, Jen and Joel...read Jen twice but didn't notice a difference(I will eventually figure it out...but maybe this has something to do with not DB-resetting them?)

My NPC trader keeps dying but i can talk to him? Whats going on?There's like 3 npc trader now. keep duplicating themselves.
This is what happens if you turn trader protection off. Not a lot I can do about it. Just kill them and eventually it'll "reset" itself.
Is there anyway to upgrade 'Steel' blocks to 'Titanium', or do you have to craft with Titanium blocks?
You need the titanium clawhammer.

Vanilla buildings can't be added to the map generator? The whole map is filled with boring houses. Especially infuriating are these Japanese old buildings everywhere. I want a zombie Apocalypse in the city of megapolis with high-rise buildings, but all around these old houses from Japan. Even in Japan, these buildings are only in the Museum.
