Darkness Falls: They mostly come out at night...

Khaine could you check snowberry seeds and harvesting issue?
4 berries for 1 seed, you plant them and when harvesting - it says press E to pick 1 snowberry, than you only get 1 back and seed is lost - doesn't remain on the tiled ground as the others are - even if you punch them result is the same.

Plus Living of the land invested 2 points should give me 2 crops - works normal with other crops.
Snowberries were technically never player plantable, but will look into it. Thanks for the heads up. :)

Is v2.03 out yet?
If so where do I get it? The link on first page still downloads the old version?
No it's not, and it's now likely to be delayed since 17.2 experimental is out.

So I might wait for that to be released and bring out 2.03 with it at the same time.

 
I think the new release corrupted my world. I tried reverting everything to 17.1 but I think when I started it in 17.2 it changed the world files and now it says "this save game is for a world that no longer exists. If the world was from a mod please make sure that mod is installed". Starting new worlds is fine and changing the version in ttw.main back to 17.1 in Hxd throws a null pointer... Will this new update let me load my world again or do I have to restart? Mod was working great before update, although the lockpick perk upgrade descriptions were missing.

That'll be due to 17.2 completely changing RWG.

DF is NOT compatible with 17.2 experimental right now. I've literally got the XML open to start doing it.

So you probably just broke your world.

 
We seem to have an issue as my wifes character which can't finish the survivalist class. She hasn't finished the quest but has not given her the next steps to follow. This happened after raising the issue about the masterclass which was resolved, but because she was half way through, it stopped and can't work out how to have it start up again or continue from where she was.

Any idea how we can fix this?

 
If you know what quest she was on, you can use the console.

She needs to be an admin, and then use this.

givequest quest_classtrainingsurvivalistX

X is the number of the quest she SHOULD be on, not the one just completed.

 
Hi there! The effect of "Boom headshot" wich was integrated into Perception stat is duplicated there in 2 different <effect_group>'s. I Guess someone just forgot to erase a chunk of "Boom headshot" after copy-pasting as there are even skill desc lines from "Boom headshot" left. So it's effectively doubled the headshot bonus damage and made head dismember chance to proc twice.

 
I hope this works with the Firearms Mod and the Soviet Weapon Pack. Those are both good gun adding mods although I wish they would fix ADS (Aim Down Sites) for AK weapons. Hate the stupid vanilla ADS for the AK and for some reason those modders just used vanilla animation for it. -.-

My husband and i love your mod, we especially enjoys all the new weapons and the classes, the garden bit not so much we are hoping for a watering system in the future :-)

but we have reach level 200 without feeling done at all.

we would really like to put the max level up to level 300 ,but we can not figure out how.

I have tried changing it in the progression file to 300, but every time i log in with the mod launcher it resets to 200.

i understand this is not your vision with the mod but hope you or somebody else might help us anyway :-)

They may not work with this mod. Darkness Falls is an overhaul and thus not designed to work with modlets in any way.

I wouldn't even want to try and use it on a save already in progress due to all the quest, progression and world changes. It's BOUND to break something.

I don't use the launcher, but I think someone said you need to turn off the keep up to date function, and you have to edit the files the launcher downloaded... and there's something else you have to do, but I don't remember what off the top of my head.

And don't worry, even at level 200 I have plans for folks to have other things to do. ;)

 
I have to agree with the folks here about farming. It's extremely tedious. I dont mind it needing water but having it use water up every stage is bonkers. I have to make and carry like 50 water buckets and build a sink next to farm. My opinion; have crops need to be grown next to water but not have it consume it. Good middle ground I think.

If u are going to use firearms u have to go change progression in it our remove it like i did, and then be able to make guns in the metal workstation, since khaine made some awesome progressionen skills in this:)

And then we go back to the old code where folks complain because plants randomly disappear and/or die.

I'm sticking with this but I'm adding in some extra stuff to help.

EDIT: Just had an idea, playing with it now... if I coded it right.

But it didn't crash.... soooooooo...

EDIT 2: GOT IT!

Ok, so I got plants to have a random chance to consume water now instead of guaranteed. Example.

4 buckets of water, 9 blocks of water in total, 3 used for 36 plants all updating at the same time.

May need to tweak the numbers a little, but that's a lot better.

Hate to bug with questions but we are now at the stage of making all our titanium tools and armour but can't seem to find what perk unlocks the titanium sledgehammer if you could point us in the right direction please?

Loving this mod btw and like the idea from your last post regarding the random chance of water consumption for farming. I didn't mind the water thing too much but did feel a little excessive. I figured perhaps to wait on an irrigation system mod or rainwater tank with auto filling trench kinda option. But I think the random chance should remove the grind of watering.

Titanium sledgehammer I apparently forgot to add in 2.02. It's been added to 2.03 under titanium crafting.

Gave him the book and he used it but the quest didn't advance. How do I know if it worked?
It doesn't advance the quests. It just sets the character as if the quests had been completed, which means he can delete the one in his quest log and ignore it.

 
Or for watering plants just add a recipe for POI water source ( if that is possible ). I noticed plants doesn't use water from pools or fountains because that water is POI water block.

I remember in previous versions of these mods you had a water tank in the middle so you didn't pour water over ur crops and loose them and you only had to fill them once - I guess it behaved same as POI water block entity.

Actually working on a block that spawns water.

Also I managed to get plants to have a random chance of consuming water rather than completely guaranteed.

Currently set to 30% chance instead of 100%. :) Needs some testing but it doesn't seem too bad.

 
anyone having problems with joining a friends game have no hassle in normal game but in darkness sometimes we try relogging eight or nine time before it will let us both log in at same time any ideas

 
Can you please make it to where this is compatible with Firearms Mod and Soviet Weapons Pack mod. Those are two really good gun adding mods. When in the Mod folder their progression files interact with Darkness Falls progression.xml to where you can't do anything with skills.

It won't even let you go to the skills menu.

Please please make the progression.xml for Darkness Falls compatible with Firearms and Soviet Weapons Pack mod's progression.xml's

Great mod but won't play it till it's compatible with those good weapon mods. Will just go back to Realism Overhaul.
