Custom Rail Yard

Looks great!  My only concern if I were to want to add it to a map would be that the tracks just end abruptly, which looks out of place.  I don't know if there is a good option for that, though.  There are some railroad crossings in my current map and they also just end, but it's a single line and because it ends back off the road a bit, it isn't noticeable if you're driving over the tracks on the road.  But it's also small and isn't something you'd really wander around on, so that helps make it less jarring.  But for something this size, I think it would really stand out that the tracks end abruptly.  Maybe do something to make it looks like the tracks are ending at a crater or kind of fade out as if covered over with debris or dirt or something so it doesn't feel so abrupt?  The end of the track where the trains are "parked" could just have bumpers placed and that would look fine.  It's just for where the tracks are intended to continue away from there that is the issue, I think.

As a side note, Teragon allows users to create POI groups, which are a variety of tiles/POI that are placed in a specific order and then treated as if they were a single POI to be placed and rotated.  Here is an example of AH64_Jimbo's airport as a group.  This can be moved and rotated as a single object:

If you wanted to do something with your rail yard that wouldn't work specifically with RWG but would work well with Teragon and could be used to place it manually on a map, you could look at making the rail yard on tiles (not necessary, but makes it easier to work with) and then create a variety of tiles outside of the rail yard that would be for tracks leaving the rail yard.  The actual tracks on the tiles could then be set up as parts that have a variety of different looks to them so that each generation will have tracks in different layouts leaving the rail yard for whatever distance you want.  I wouldn't go too far as the larger the group POI is, the more free space you need to place it, but getting 3-4 tiles away would help make it look more natural and you can adjust the tracks further away to make them look like they are destroyed or removed or covered over with dirt or whatever to mask the fact that they just end.

Anyhow, just an idea if you were interested.  :)

I have kept my prefab size to 100 x 100, and will be adding more to it. This is not the complete finished work and I know how to adjust it so as to blend into the terrain and not just abruptly end the tracks.
