Custom POI issue in snow biome

Does anyone know why the ground inside the boundary of my custom POI looks like dirt in the snow biome? And how to fix it?

It looks perfectly fine in the other 4 biomes (see photo below for desert), it is just the snow biome that is giving me this issue.
I've used the terrainFiller block on the surface, and they are definitely snow blocks that look like dirt, as they have 50 hp and give snow.

Is there any chance you didn't really use terrain filler, but used Dirt instead? It looks to me like Dirt blocks down the middle in your desert picture.

The dirt path from the entrance is intentional.

And yes, 100000000000000% confident is it terrainFiller. In the POI editor the grass from the filler is all squared

I see that I overlooked the narrow band of dirt at the boundary and recognize that's what you're after. I think you're seeing part of the terrain block under the surface that RWG has placed, not your POI.

Those wilderness transitions from POI to RWG's chosen terrain are almost always a little awkward.

I added some terrainFiller underneath where the ground has an angle on both sides of the dirt path, which removed the dirt texture on the bottom of each slop. And that made the snow look like snow.

Such a strange glitch that only affected the snow biome

Yup.  For custom pois, I recommed making your terrain at least two blocks deep.  The terrain blocks sometimes act weird on how the textures come through.  They often take on the texturs of the blocks at a 45 degree angle of the terrain blocks below.  Terrain blocks act more like 'bubbles' that merge with adjoining terrain blocks, creating a unified surface. The textures of each terrain blocks don't necessarily follow a 90 degree up/down, side to side transition.
