Cursing and Blasphemy

Profanity filter aside, which is a good option to have for those that prefer it, when does Rekt blaspheme? I do hate missing the good stuff...
For some, any mention of G-d in a curse is blasphemy. So, no gds and JC's for them. To them, it cheapens and profanizes the sacred just like f--k cheapens and profanizes the act of "making love."

I wouldn't take it personally myself. (If I did, I'd never have been able to watch Aliens.) However, I can definitely see why some do and, if an option can be provided in the filter to filter those out as well, it definitely wouldn't hurt the game's appeal.

Well that's disappointing. I was hoping I had missed something a little more juicy than that.

I live in a country with two branches of Orthodoxy. For one of them, a law was passed against insulting the feelings of believers, which carries criminal penalties. Representatives of the second branch sincerely believe that insulting God and faith is fundamentally forbidden. If God feels insulted, He will deal with the offender Himself.

In general, the concept of God varies from faith to faith. Buddhists don't have a God at all, only the teacher Buddha. Shintoists have thousands of gods; choose whichever you like.

Criminal penalties, eh? Give it time. The theo/tech bro alliance will probably try to pass laws like that in the US soon as well. Peter Thiel is already giving "lectures" setting up liberal democratic institutions as the Antichrist trying to get support for the tech bros' network state nonsense among the more...uh, misled here.
