Crown Molding

I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere, but I am new and certain how to navigate. 
Is it possible to copy a block and recreate it?

I want to copy some crown molding that a zombie destroyed. 

I also want to copy the outer frame of roof that zombies destroyed. I cannot find the right pieces with the standard R shape blocks.

Anyone help?

There are many blocks in the game that we only have access to in creative mode.  In all honesty, if I need to fix my house because zombies broke it and I don't have access to the block I need to fix it, I'll activate the cheat menu, find the block I need, make the repairs dump the extra blocks that I nerfed in and turn of creative mode.

I'm guessing that there is probably a mod floating around that gives you the ability to make these "missing" blocks, but I have not looked for it.
