i will never play a17 until they remove this stupid minecraft sneak and fix the performance also zombies spawning and sensitive hearing
If this is true it is truly terrible. Perhaps you are using examples without actually knowing the code.... As a rule of thumb, the number indicates how many blocks away zombies can see/hear you...
If not for the reason of crouching then probably for about 3 other reasons I would guess yes, you will need a new A17 base design. I know I do....The base design I've been developing and using very successfully since A15 is based on defending in a crouched position, it doesn't work at all in A17. Do I need to start developing a new design?
Yes.Sorry that I'm sounding like a broken record, I know everyone at TFP is busy working hard and the forums are very busy, but I'm still wanting to know if we can get our crouching move back with a lower POV. I wonder if Riveted Sheet Metal would still work for that exploit.... the floating block exploit, where you could place a plate block on the ground and place another plate on top and walk between them. Those of use building nearly zombie proof bases used this exploit to make the zombies walk under our bases and not be able to hit any supports. Sadly, now we cant even walk that space without crouching because we are now more than 2 meters tall due to the "floating" offset.
