I am having a good time creating maps in teragon for a few weeks, and no thanks to my perfectionism I have yet to find the perfect map. I also like to set up things like MAME frontends, Future Pinball, Dosbox games, cataloging all my retro games with boxscans, most that i edit myself. I swear I seem to enjoy all of this setup more than playing any of the games.

So I was wondering how many guys that play 7 Days to Die, are in it to make massive cool bases more than going around looting and zombie bashing.

I am one of them. I even design the base in a 3D graphics program before I start to build in game.

I enjoy designing large bases and that tends to be more of what I'm interested these days than playing the game itself... mainly because I've put so many hours into this game that there's not really anything new there.  Eventually, I'll be back to playing normally, but for now I am mostly doing other games to have a break.  Still, here's an example of a base we did.  We also did a large castle base that I haven't yet made a video of.  Note that this showcases all of the Vehicle Madness mod's drivable vehicles.

Very cool, back in my modding days, I used to love building in community 2d editors as it was faster to get into then the in game editor.

The in game prefab editor has come such a long way now I am so much faster using that now.

I am thankful I have  the opportunity to take what enjoy about the game most and do it for a living.

Can't wait to see what you guys think of the new POIs coming in the next update.  😎

Thank you for the reply Laz Man.

Awesome work. Just one thing, you may need to get a RTX 6090 and i9 gen 16 to get decent frame rates. That's why I upgraded my old GTX 1080 - just to get better frame rates in my ridiculous base. Of course the RTX 4070ti killed my gaming rig and I had to go without a gaming rig for about a year.
Heh. Most of the frame rate problems are due to the recording.  It's smooth while playing the game normally.  :)   In any case, I have what I can afford right now, which is fine.
