PC Created new random gen 8k world Spawned and fell to bedrock

Anyone else experience this?

My excitement to play A18 was immediately abated once I fell to my death and was respawned at bedrock in a neverending crack in the world. I didn't allow cheats so I could fly out and see what the world looked like.

Decided to give it another go and had the same thing happen, but this time I had cheat mode enabled. Basically the desert is 1 square thick slices of mesa. WTF?! Anyone else?

Sort of sounds like some people didn't do a clean install.

I uninstalled the game first, and then did a full DL and install, then ran clean utility. All that prior to even running 7D2D. So it isn't a matter of a clean install. The only way to do it cleaner wouldn't have been to use a fresh HD lol
