Monday I had this error so I played a solo game offline. Tuesday I could play multiplayer (i hosted) no problems. Wednesday (today) I'm back to this error.
Tried running the clean files option in the launcher.
Uninstalled and reinstalled EAC files.
Verified integrity of files four times. Each time I get the message: 1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired.
Monday I was able to play offline but today after trying all the above I no longer have the option to play offline. Clicking that button now yields the message that i have to play in online mode once before i can play offline.
Synced system clock.
Graphics drivers up to date as of 15 minutes or less prior to posting this thread.
Power cycled router twice (yes I know how to properly power cycle it).
Tuesday when i launched and was able to play multiplayer i was asked if i wanted to enable the new discord features. I elected not to. This was not asked Monday or today.
Disabled firewall.
Scanned for viruses.
Restarted computer more times than i counted.
Swore repeatedly at computer and threatened it with a large hammer and a menacing glare.
Pretty sure there's something wrong with the game. Latest log file attached.
