Could anyone please tell me why my game looks like this now?

I started a base in the pine forest and the ground looks like sand now? Also see the top right? that location was not there when I made this base no houses were around me at all. When I walk around its like its confused or something about where i am and i promise you i didn't make my base on the asphalt road that is currently under my base now. it was all grass land. When i make a new world this doesn't happen at all, please help! i had a lot of lucky drops in this run and would love to continue!

Usually a change to the biomes file of an active game will cause the biome to change while leaving the ground cover like you see there.  Never saw it add asphalt, though.  And if you haven't edited or changed any files, then it shouldn't have happened anyhow.  You are using at least one mod.  Are you sure it's fully functional for A21?  You should also include your logs - preferably the one just prior to this happening as well as the one just after this happened so it may be possible to see what happened.

If you're playing A21, then that's probably part of the problem. You knew what you signed up for with an experimental build.

 
Did you follow the instructions in the Blue banner to ensure you had cleared out old data before starting a21?

Fresh install fresh windows install. there were no other files to corrupt as i had just installed windows like a week prior and installed the game to a fresh drive.
